im thinking about getting one for when i start modding mine. wiring is silly and the fact that i can cut the amount of wires in half safely is pretty damn good reason to get one.
I built my own switch box for the X. But... I have a full aux electrical system that I designed and installed as well.

For the Fronty, I'm keeping things very simple. I was going to buy one of these for full retail, but found one unused off a guy on overland bound, and scored it for $100 shipped.

Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to put it, and how I'm going to run the wire for the switches into the cab.

I used to pay ~$200/month for cable. Internet was extra. Now I pay ~$80/month for Google Fiber (1Gbps), $18 for Netflix, $6 Disney+ and Amazon Video with my Amazon Prime subscription. I use an OTA digital antenna and get the 4 major networks (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC) free as well as ~40 syndicated channels if I want to watch stuff live. Much happier now and saving $$.

If you have a smart TV or Amazon Fire device sideload Cinema HD. There are a ton of both TV series and movies on that.

Netflix has about warn out its welcome. All the good content has gone to the individual streaming services and their original stuff is getting thin.

The only thing I pay for is internet and baseball. Have an HDHomerun tied to my plex server on an antenna for all the local stuff. Have access to almost all the services. Through family. I sail the high seas for most everything tho. I just prefer it that way.

I haven't had cable for over 10 years.
My only good choice for internet right now is Comcast and they wont sell me just internet, so my bundle has the basic local channels in low def ( I think its about 20 channels). I turned in the cable box so that saves me 5 bucks a month and downloaded Comcast beta on my Roku, which plays the channels I have on my Comcast account in HD.

Comcast/Xfinity internet alone is $49ish a month. They will sell it alone, I have it.

Spectrum sells internet only. Paying 65/month (first year) for around 350 down but shiat up

Only other option is ATT fiber, but their offerings aren't transparent enough for my needs. Maybe I should start looking at business grade service...
