Cleveland is on pace to do a thing. I get it.
I really dig Rockies stadium. I've sat all over and enjoyed them all.. Neat stadium all together.Except that they're in the sun for the beginning of an afternoon game.
tylenol pm
My secret is that I envision being part of an exhausted WW2 tank crew in North Africa just laying on gear trying get any rest possible before we go into battle. I made the mistake of sharing this with my wife who had innocently assumed I counted sheep. Her response was something along the line of ‘who the bleep are you?’ And WTF I think! Probably shouldn’t be sharing this in public either…….just another example of bad decision making littering my path thru life
That was obviously from a few years ago (Sign is Indians). We tried when we went up this year but there was only one home game and it got rained out. It was the game before the All-Star break and they opened the second half on the road.Cleveland is on pace to do a thing. I get it.
You know they're bringing that show back. With Scott Bakula. As a continuation of the original.
sameI watched part of the first season, and thought it was pretty good. Then stopped for some reason. Not really sure why...
are they? not modernizing it to fit current trends? You know they're bringing that show back. With Scott Bakula. As a continuation of the original.
WOWNot a let it out post, but a rant fo sho.
sat down at my desk this AM, mom calls. I sigh deeply. (see also: The million times Ive had to help with her and my sisters car) Mom says there is water spraying all around the kitchen from the fridge but "its no big deal". I tell her Ill be right over (she lives 2.2 miles from my work) get there and its the plastic feed line to the fridge easy repair.
BUT
Can't find the damn cut off outside. neighbor had sprinklers put in and they buried her meter. Dug it up. opened it. full of dirt too. I dug for 30 min and couldnt find the damn turn off. So i called the city. They came out, and found it, two inches deeper than the 18" of dirt i dug out. Then said. And i quote.
"But you cant turn it off yourself."
Me: Why the ufck not? I own a T, dont i?
Them: Too many people break the turn offs, sir.
Me: ufck those people, I have a flood in the kitchen.
Them: Well in that situation you wouldnt be in trouble for going ahead and turning it off.
Me: trouble? by who?
Apparently the city prefers you to call and they come out and turn it off. then they turn it back on when you are done. if you violate, they take your turn off away. Them: "And we dont charge for that service sir."
Why the ufck would you charge me to turn off and on my water? And the guy said it with a straight face!
Literally said: call me when you are done and ill come back. and I said "uh huh".
What in the world is going on. People dont turn their water off themselves and make repairs anymore?
One behind the fridge, wouldnt turn. One under the sink, turned and shut it off mostly, but still was running water through the 1/4" line. I wanted it off all the way. replaced the behind the fridge turn off while i was in there so hopefully wont be an issue again.WOW
The craziest part to me is you dont have a cut off inside the house. I mean every house around here has a main cut off right where it comes into the house on the inside.
Standard for me was if I had to do plumbing, and it was a multi-turn shut off, kill the house and replace the shut off with a 1/4 turn. One behind the fridge, wouldnt turn. Thatʻs strange, we have one on the street and one right where the water comes into the house on the outside (if it freezes here water will be the least of our problems). The one at the house is right before the regulator.Standard for me was if I had to do plumbing, and it was a multi-turn shut off, kill the house and replace the shut off with a 1/4 turn.
Have a shut off at the street, 1 just inside the house and 1 at each point of use. And for me a well pump shut off as well. Not a let it out post, but a rant fo sho.

Our main shut-off inside the house snapped off the wall a few years ago. That was an awful weekend. This is my first time living on public water vs a well so I had no idea what protocol to follow. Wasn't bad till Dad hooked the old line with the backhoe and yanked the meter base off the neighborhood water main. That was a cluster. Not a let it out post, but a rant fo sho.

Nope.
4km? House I grew up in was about that far from the school and we didn't even have bus service. You had to bring your own ass to school. Of course, if it snowed in the winter the entire place shut down. So....Back to school for the kid today. Get an email from the bus company at 3pm yesterday redoing all the bus route schedules because they are short on drivers for the foreseeable future. I live 4km from the school. HE would normally get picked up at 7:55am and be on the bus for 20 min. Not to bad. The new schedule would be picking him up at 7:00am, that is complete bull shiat. So a bunch of parents on the street have joined forces to get the kids to school at a reasonable time. Some of the kids would be spending almost 5 hours a day on the bus, where last year they would be a max of 1 3/4 hours last year. So stupid.
my question is, how TF they couldnt find a white door. I find junked White Xterras a lot. now i cant door swap because the whites dont match.Nope.

If it wasnt for it being a last moment change, it wouldnt have been as big of a pain in the ass. Also have 6-8 months of winter.4km?
