I managed to install a ceiling fan in my daughter's room this morning! I can do 12v all day long, but 110 scares me for some reason. But, it worked on the first try. Hooray!

I've worked on waaaaay too many live 120v junctions in my life. Been lit up a few times. One of my most memorable was when I was 12 ish. Helping my dad disassemble his office as he and his business partner were splitting ways. I was standing on top of a desk taking down a light fixture. I thought the circuit was off. Wasn't. Knocked square on my back on the desk. Fixture was toast.
In retrospect, it might have been 277v. Because commercial property.

My sister told me I should watch The Accountant. Hadn't seen it before. Jon Bernthal was excellent. Higher end of Ben Affleck's work. And who doesn't love J.K. Simmons and John Lithgow. There is the Anna Kendrick bonus as well. All around good film. Good cast. Well acted. Interesting script.

Find a small vertical with a water pan. I have an older Brinkman I picked up for like $30. Then you just go add charcoal and wood chunks once an hour.
You can smoke food while you are just hanging out at home or working on the X.

Yeah, I made sure to turn the breaker off before doing anything. Used the multimeter to check which wore was hot (it's an old house, so no colored wires).
Now I need to put one in our bedroom, which I'll probably get this weekend.

Mine has been on a honey-do list creating frenzy for about the last 5 months - Extended the roof over the porch to the side 1 foot and out from the house 4 feet. Redoing the front porch and front yard just finished the front walk. Roofer decided today was the day to put on the shingles going to be damn near 100 freedom units here today expect I'll find half of them dead at lunch.
