Pretty sure you are overthinking this, there is a simple solution...Legally I can't do anything before Friday. And the dude hasn't responded to @kirk on FB. Ask is $5500. And I don't think I'd argue on price. Of which I have none. I'd have to borrow $7500 to cover shipping. On an old ass truck, that's $200/mo from the bank until I could sell my 2nd Gen (which I can afford after April when my mortgage contribution drops by $300/mo). Then it's pay off that 7500, spend another 3 to get the timing belt and clutch done, and a full tune up. A few weeks to sort the suspension. Just so I could drive it with confidence.
And this is supposed to be the summer of Mustang.
I'm spinning all the plates in my head. It's a lot.
If I could do it, I could have a Unicorn with a body lift and PML on 32s, maybe a functional Mustang and be comfortable every month.
That's IF I could get good money for the 2nd Gen. To the right person it's $15? Maybe?
The biggest problem in my head is that I don't have the time/bandwidth to do the necessary maintenance myself. I'd have to pay for it so I can have a functional truck quickly. If I had a year round daily, it'd be a different story.
Trust me. I'm trying to spin it every which way in my head to make it work.
This. Thank you.Dude, you been looking for this since before I made the migration. Make it happen. Pull some strings! Sell some comics, freelance, secure the deal. Talk to the bank. You'll falk asleep thinking about it until it's gone, then you'll have regrets. Many. Just do hit~

That sounds epic. And expensive.Ship it, all the parts and the solid front axle up to me. I will do the clutch, timing belt and sas. You then fly up and we drive dirt routes back south and stop at as many breweries as we can.
And EpicThat sounds epic. And expensive.
Why do I always have to do everythingNeed a line on a HP D44, Chebby knuckles/brakes, 5.13s, ARB, the works. One of my hangups on the D44 is that I want bigger brakes, but nobody seems to make them.
