It's Toyota. They'll get it right. Never buy the 1st Gen of any new ground up design.
But. It was already a proven platform1.0 wasn't bad. Even if it did have a minivan engine
Mustaine!Jamming to some megadeth and on way to the brewery for lunch.
All respect to the Ecoboost. Mr brother-in-law has one in his F150 and loves it. But I’d still get one with a 5.0 just to keep it simple.I had a 14 f150 3.5 ecoboost
not nearly as cool sounding as all the v8's it'd leave in the dust, both loaded and non
was eternally impressed with the way it hauled my full size bronco back from dallas
I’ve had 2 5.0 f150s, first got stolen, 2nd is on this forum somewhere, used it to haul an Isuzu truck to North Carolina and loved it and it’s 10 speed, traded because I love my 6.7 powerstrokesAll respect to the Ecoboost. This is important. Toyota had a legacy of reliability and innovation. But they're behind the 8 ball on this. If Toyota was doing smaller turbos in the same timeline as Ford, I guarantee they'd be better.toyota only 10+ years behind ford on this one
Oh yeah. Friend of mine has an explorer st with a twin-turbo ecoboost and that thing is stoopid fast. Forced induction definitely enhances performance. It also wears out engines faster. I just want fuss free so I’ll settle for the 5.0.I’ve had 2 5.0 f150s, first got stolen, 2nd is on this forum somewhere, used it to haul an Isuzu truck to North Carolina and loved it and it’s 10 speed, traded because I love my 6.7 powerstrokes
The 3.5 eco is faster, and does tow a lot better, and that’s sayin something cause the 5.0 is no slouch, only issue in 120k miles was a radiator hose
theres plenty of ecoboost f150's over the 500k markOh yeah. Friend of mine has an explorer st with a twin-turbo ecoboost and that thing is stoopid fast. Forced induction definitely enhances performance. It also wears out engines faster. I just want fuss free so I’ll settle for the 5.0.

tax this d admin boyThe Toyota tax is bullshiat.
bitcchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhWe need tree fiddy
The guy who wants a v8 and not a smaller engine with additional components on it to go wrong?
We need tree fiddy
with double camel humpersI read this as ‘free tiddy’
But. I don't have Netflix.
Finished it a couple days ago. Yes, very good.
Yep. Only reason I have the one I do is the stupid deal I got it. Bought a 2018 used in 2020 with only 1,800 miles on. Poor dude bought it. Got diagnosed with terminal cancer and traded it back in with it hardly being driven to get a new car for his wife straight up so she had a new vehicle when he was gone. Got basically a brand new truck with spray bed liner, tri-cover, and wind breakers on the window for the price of used. The Toyota tax is bullshiat.
heh... yeah...sadly, this year, tgpws won't be opened by someone whos gonna feel it in the morning cause its new years but we all past 30
