I've had this sheet of plastic a buddy gave me laying around for months and finally got it cut to replace the slide out board on my Frontrunner table.

Gonna pull those skids soon. This is 19k miles on my ATF. On my last trans fluid change, I could barely tell the difference between the old and new fluids and the majority of that was done with 33s and 3.13 gears.

Hopefully this drain and fill got the majority of the junk out of the pan. I'll do a full flush the next time I change my motor oil and change the transmission screen as well.

Got a Titan M226. It's a little rough but for $200 I thought it was worth it for the shafts if nothing else.

It's also 3.36 so I'm contemplating swapping in the 3.36 diffs and selling my 3.69 X width stuff to help fund lower gears and ARBs.

This is the way. Parts are so much cheaper. Don't forget the journey you're on tho. Spindles, brakes, wheels....

I'm currently trying to buy that from a 41k mile 2015 Titan. Minus OE brakes. I'll go with the Raybestos stuff. It's been good to me.

Unless you mean that you got it hoping to use the shafts in your Xterra 226. Because that's not a thing.

Well there goes that plan.....

Nah, I'm kidding. A am only a gnats hair from having the machine ship at work turn down the flanges and hub and redrill for our silly little pattern to see about using my Xterra brakes on it though.

The mounting on the rear brakes is COMPLETELY different. If you're going to do that, the "easy" way might be to swap the shafts into the Xterra bearing cages. That way you've got Xterra ends on the Titan axle. But for all that hassle.....

Like the ends of the housings are different or just the backing plates?

So the bearing cage is what carries the caliper bracket. The bearing cage also has the 4-studs and nuts that attach the axle shaft assy to the tube.

This is what mine looks like.

Spent this morning adjusting my headlights and fog lights. Got a lot better patterns now but there still a HUGE dark spot in my high beams.

These ebay housings have never been great. I need to find some better quality ones.

Welp.... Just lost #1 ignition coil.....

236k miles. Probably about time. Advance had a NGK coil and plug on the shelf. Swapped them in and it's doing ok now. Gonna look at doing the rest before I take it out and about much.

Ordered a set of the Diode Dynamics SS3 pod lights for the front of the X. Been needing more light up there and @ffxcores has had good luck with his sets.

I ordered the combo lenses and a spare set of the flood lenses to compare them so there will be some night wheeling as soon as they arrive.

Now I'm considering ditch lights or rock lights.

Son of a BITCH! The end of the tube had corroded and the slide hammer wouldn't even begin to budge it. I had to drive the chisles between the caliper bracket after cutting two of the retainer bolts off.

The tone ring is destroyed but it'll need bearings anyways where it's sat.

Two of the retainer studs are spinning on the other side. I've got to get the welder out and tack those in place before I'll be able to attempt to pull that shaft. Hopefully it comes out easily.

You should be able to source complete replacement axle shafts with bearings and tone rings for cheap. Last I checked they were about $150.

Got my Diode Dynamics LED lights installed today. They are BRIGHT. I'm not sure I care for the combo patter because they don't really add light to the side as much as I had hoped.

I have the flood lenses I will test out later.

They are also pretty RF noisy. Very noticeable static in my RX with them on but not blanking my RX completely like my cheapo backup bulbs.

Motor mounts are too soft and it pulled the coupling off the inlet tube. Gonna have to order actual replacements I guess.
