Tactical Roof Rack

Saw this awesome tactical roof rack setup and thought maybe I would share it in case others want to try and do something similar. If I didn't run a basket I would do this for sure.

I've tossed this idea around all summer. I'm glad to see someone else has already done it. If I had the funds, I'd be all over it. As long as you could lock it down and actually use it (and forget about MGP losses), you should do it!

I don't know why having a roof basket would stop you from doing it. That rig has a roof basket on it. The rest looks like it's made from conduit hangers and ammo boxes. Cheap, easy, and light. There are a few guys on TNX that have made complete between-the-roof-rails racks out of similar materials.

I know his has a basket but I have mine mounted on the rear half because I also use the front one. I already have a hilift mounted and I carry my spare on top. So for me my setup works. I just thought his idea was cool and different. I don't personally think it would be too heavy at all.
