Steeze my friend you gotta stop doing this... you disappear then reappear... everytime you do it I end up doing the same! Rig looks great though I love it! By the way over by my ex-girlfriends house there was a white first gen that totally copied your mountain range with herculiner.

You actually motivated me to get working on it after I saw yours. I've had the idea for a while just been procrastinating. I'm gonna do both sides and a center piece above the back seat that will connect the two sides

Nice. Glad to hear that. I may end up adding on and going up for a rifle rack setup that locks up and full tint the rear since CA has stupid gun laws.

That's exactly what that center piece on mine is for... it'll be a rifle rack/pet divider... I have dogs that like to jump over the seat. That's also the reason I wanted to make more use of the sides and keep as much room as possible in the middle.

It'll be a 3 piece system.. and I think it'll be pretty rad when it's done.

I'll be doing a lower radiator skid out of diamond plate this weekend... eventually more skids will come.

I should get a decent amount of work done on the interior rack... maybe finish it.

The grill is waiting on some stuff... I'll post a pic when it's finished. What I did has never been done...

Those are the immediate plans....

Future stuff
- Titan Swap
- Diamond plate bumper corners to replace the plastic stuff
- Re-work the rear bumper to work with the new corners
- Rebuild sliders and attach to bumpers
- Some EXO/INT work
- Possibly Chop it

Great minds think alike. I'm currently working on something to replace those stupid plastic corners out of some 3/16 plate. And if I have any left some skids for the lower arms

I'm curious to see what you have planned for those corners. Do the t swap sooner then later if ya can probably the best thing I did.

Thanks

Yeah its removable... and I'm going with netting instead of doors.

I have a little more to do on the passenger side, clean it up, put the wood self in, prime and paint.

The driver side is mostly done... the flat piece sticking down is where I'm mounting a fire extinguisher. The big opening on the bottom half will have netting to hold things in.

Both of them attach to the floor tracks and the ceiling so they are solid.

The final piece will be the center... it will go between the two sides and act as a pet divider and have a mounted rifle rack. I will use quick pins to attach it..

Everything comes out... a 3 piece set. Much better use of the space...

I'm liking this system. If sure does make a better use of that random space back there.

How are you using the quick pins to lock it all in?

The two sides are attached via the floor tracks and ceiling mount...

The center piece is the only section that will be quick pinned... It's hard to explain.. you'll have to wait for pics...

I got the passenger side done tonight... I should have the whole thing done by tomorrow.

Cool I'll wait to see the pics.

Are you concerned about airflow through the radiator?

Sent via wild ferrets on crack

Not at all... I;ve been driving with the grill blocked out for 3 months. The tube bumper is open enough to not need a mesh grill.

Well I got the front skid done and painted. It's super ****ty outside now so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to put it on. It took a little longer than I anticipated... skids are difficult to fab. You're under the truck a lot in a confined space. Lots of back and forth to the garage, struggling to get the holes lined up.. anyways im glad it's done.

After dinner I'll start on the center section of the rack... thankfully it'll be much simpler than the two sides.

Very cool. I like the way that came out and those quick pins are the way to go. Now I gotta get to the steel yard.

Like it. :D

I want to make a rack instead of the box. When I'm wheeling or even hit a pot hole it slaps around and makes noise.
I'm not sure if I would connect the two sides of the rack in the middle or I would use a net to block it all off from the passenger area. But I like the gun rack idea.

Anyways good job man!

Fantastic work bud! I had a similar idea for my new interior rack but i was going to run a bar across the top w/ a built in lowbo rack... Wanted to make interior rack with tools to be able to raise and lower along those interior poles. I didn't think about putting shelves on the side though I love it! Looks super clean and functional! :D
