Nope its towards the middle. Lifted the back up and let the wheels spin and only when Appling the brake slowly the squealing begins. Sounds close to the rear u joint.

No I changed them.

I changed the differential and transfer fluids just for ****s and giggles. I've come down to it has to be the U joints. $12 part $120 in labor. Spend the money or do it myself is the question.

It was the U joints. 2 were actually seized up. All 3 replaced and my X is happy again.
