Cool, by 2ish we'll probably still be in town, wife doesn't get off till noon, then we'll be at the Big Texan for a bit, and SoonerFan (@TNX) will have to get checked in at his hotel, so, I'm betting that you'll probably catch up before we've left town...

Thankfully we'll all (except me) have co-pilots so that those of us that make it to the BT can have a pint or two of homebrew...

I like shooting but don't want to mess with that on this trip. I'm going to have enough of a handful with a baby, wife who just had dental surgery, and in laws.

Works for me, I'm just thinking there's a spot within about 4 miles from camp, that we'll probably be rolling past anyway that if anyone wanted to stop and burn a little brass, you could probably do so...

either way you could go, about 60 miles, so, 120 miles round trip to and from camp, and, I dare say, a huge waste of gas....there's very little water left in Lake Meredith, so, you could drive all the way there, and then see nothing. Last time I was there (at least 2 years ago) the water was so low, that you could see the 6-8' dropoff at the end of the boat ramp, and even the ground at the bottom of the dropoff was dry.

And I'm going to need to get my bro in law one of those tags so I don't have to wait for him to stop and get one. Oh, and his pickup is 2wd, but so is muadeeb so we'll be cautious for that.

only a 2wd? hm....we'll just have to load those peeps in with others for high risk stuff...most of our trails we'll run we should be able to get a 2wd through easily enough....there's bypasses for most anything out there...

nice, the wife wants me to go get her the stuff to make "strawberry daiquiri jello shots" to bring out for at least the girls, possibly for everyone...I'm gonna pass on doing the pepper roulette, decided that'd just be evil...gotta go get brown sugar so I can finish making the rib rub, and then I'll hafta do a custom mixed sauce....gonna try to keep it all warm but not too spicy....

may cut out the boil part too, not sure I wanna have to haul the setup out there....and two propane tanks, as well as my smoker, and everything else....
