"emergency work trip" ;)

or, bring the g/f with ya, she should be able to tell em that she has prior engagements on that date and can't attend the ceremony, and still get in...

Haha if only that would work. She has to attend to get her cord for graduation...

Mac, you are just too nice of a dude. Inlaws on a wheeling trip? HELL NO!

I took my stepfather-in-law wheeling once, he's a math professor at Texas Tech. He asked if he could drive my rig. Dude is TERRIBLE driver, in his camry, on paved roads. I tried, unsuccessfully, not to laugh out loud.

I looked at that as a welcome idea...if the girls don't want to stay, they have the brother in law's truck to take back to town, and then it's a guys trip ;)

also, my offer of some .223 still stands if you make it ;) (I don't expect you will, but, if you do, I'll have 100 rds just for you, at a good price)

Haha! I'm still going to be the only one driving but this should work in my favor to some extent because Becca's sister will keep her occupied and my bro in law should be able to ride with me a little.

You know me too well though, I'm way too nice. My sister in law being excited about camping and going to Creede this summer has definitely worked in my favor though. I had all but given up on going to CO for a few years and her getting Becca excited to go has made a trip this year very real.

Yeah, there's no way I can make it, sorry. **** is blowing up at work, and I have to go to Colorado the following weekend to pick up/install Terra's new transfer case. Just wasn't meant to be for me this year.

So it's looking like it's going to just be Hyde, muadeeb, and us as long as Becca feels good. Her appointment went well but she's not sure how she feels yet.

Keep her drugged up....

Dvs-rio is coming too, and as far as I know, Ryan's still coming...I bought Deeb's sticker today too...

That's right, dvs rio is coming. And rhinchey is Ryan? That's right.

I guess my nephew is sick so I don't think they are coming, even though they really want to. They are a toss up though.

I wish I could make this trip, it sounds like a fun time and it would have been great to meet everyone - Next time I will (Hopefully)

The scene in my tent this morning...I imagine it's pretty similar for Mac and my neighbor....lucky Deeb has no squirmy bed hogs in with him...

Made it home. The time we stayed was a lot of fun! I felt like crap all yesterday so that put a kink in things. Couple that with a young baby and extenuating circumstances with planning issues for my pergola at home and we cut our trip short. We had a lot of fun though and enjoyed the heck out of everyone there.

I felt like the Xterra was an awesome vehicle and knew that they could do a lot from the pictures and action other people had put theirs through. After Hyde walked me through a bunch of trails this morning I now feel that MY Xterra is awesome and can do so much. My confidence level is much higher now.

Trail damage, no pictures, I bent the trailer wire attachment on my hitch and was able to bend it back by hand.

Pictures after things settle down around here.
