I searched and didn't see this anywhere, so I thought I'd start a thread... I carry a Hi-lift regularly, but don't like to use it unless I have to. I also carry a bottle jack, but a lot of times it doesn't end up working out too well away from pavement or without a stack of blocks to reach the frame or axle. Anyways, some folks posted a thread about Safe Jack accessories from Bogert Manufacturing Inc. over at Expedition Portal so I ordered a few things to go with my bottle jack. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but the build quality is really good. Just thought I'd pass it on to everyone at XN too. Here is a link to their site...

Thanks, great post. I may have to rethink the role of my bottle jack and make it part of my standard kit. I like that you can put it under something and then lift up vs. the high-lift which is always lifting from the side.

I carry a 6ton bottle jack with me at all times. for the base I just use the same one as my high lift the offroad base. It would be nice sometimes to have a better top plate then the stock small round one.

I'm the same way with the base, but the extensions, broad plate, and axle attachment sure seem like they are going to make life easier.

Thanks for the tip. Not ordering right away but it's going on the recovery gear list. I carry a bottle jack in my X and use it more than the provided jack, particularly because I don't have to dig up the back seats to get at it. (It also picks the X up like it's light as a feather.) The rear spring clamps make a nice cage for the shaft, but the front frame lift point isn't quite as secure.

This one looks the most useful for me, should grab the frame and axle tube.
