Not sure what direction to go. Help a brother out.

Alright here it goes.
I had to change the damn bypass hose (I'll sell the truck if it happens again).
Pulled the distributor to get at it.
After I got it back together it was throwing multiple codes (O2 bank 1,cyl 1 misfire,multi cyl misfire,etc).
Threw a new cap,rotor and wires on it and timed it.

Now has a slight shudder at idle and steady speed,seems ok during acceleration.
Still throwing O2 bank 1 code (yes it's lighting up the ses) and sometimes cyl 1 misfire.

Really don't know what direction to go with it. Gonna get a new O2 sensor but I know that's not gonna solve the problem.

Any idea's?

When was the last time or ever the Dizzy been replaced? Once the bearings go they act all strange..

Maybe when you pulled it.. It activated the **** storm

I'm guessing 100k+ miles? They generally go bad around there..
That would be the starting point for me

Took it back out and when I spin the gear it hitches,not smooth at all.

you can do the bearing replacement, but I did a cardone from rock auto... its been working great

I ****ing give up.
New distributor in. No O2 sensor code anymore but still getting the Cyl1 misfire/knock sensor code.


And now it's ticking.

How old are the spark plug wires? You disturbed the wires so if they were starting to degrade you may have sped it up moving them around.

The Cardone I got from rock auto was garbage. Had to get a real one from the dealer. Runs perfect now.

Got new wires on it already.
Pulling the cardone and putting old distributor back in.
Gonna pull plug, haven't gotten to that yet.
