I like having the shifter lower. Still works great and if my transfer case shifter was taller it would hit my CB in 2wd.

What I'd REALLY like is a short throw shifter for the transmission with positive stops. The factory manual shifter feels like guessing on some of the gears.

I as well like the "shortness" of the shifter with the body lift and the Tcase shifter fits fine as well, but I dont have issues with the stops, I have no issues even shifting my left hand, but that's typically a symptome of worn shifter linkage bushings.

I don't have problems per se. But, I've had lots of experience driving cars with aftermarket shifters and it makes a world of difference when you have positive stops on the shift gates.
