Hey Guys, I have been reading your forum for a few weeks. I was thinking of getting an X after a very long three year stint without a truck and just a car. I hated not having a 4x4. I ran my trusty Isuzu Rodeo LS to the ground (frame rusted out). Had to wait for some finances to clear and then went looking for a used X and I came here to do my research find out about them. I was impressed with what I read about them. I read they weren't making them anymore after 2015. So I went a little overboard in budget but I bought my 2015 Super Black Pro-4X 2 weeks ago. So after reading all the mods I can do to it I guess it won't stay stock very long. I already have the Weathertech mats all around and I removed the mud flaps. I installed the hitch receiver which was probably a mistake because I'm already thinking of a Maxterra Bumper w/ tire carrier. Any hints on the first few things I need to get or should get?

Welcome. If you have the P4X and plan to wheel, ditch the running boards. They will end up doing damage if you don't.

Welcome to the XN! Im here just west of Philly with my 01. Sliders are definitely a nice piece of armor to get. Itll give you back the step rail after you take the stock steps off. I would say the best mod you'll ever buy, and prolly already know this, are tires. that'll help you the most of anything

Thanks to everyone who posted a welcome and thanks for the info. I guess I will be getting sliders first. Anything On what type or a comparison thread about them? From what I have read White Knuckle sliders are looking pretty good to me so far.

The kick out provides a little more protection.

The Hefty's are great and have done me well. Just like the WK's a tiny bit more
