- Mostly stock engine. Doug Thorley headers and Rugged Rocks engine mounts. New battery as of 8/21/2016
- Stock transmission and transfer case
- Interior is stock and in good shape minus one small tear in driver side seat bottom cushion.
- Paint has some scratches, but nothing too deep. Grey paint on sides, hood and bumpers is Duplicolor Bumper Coating.

Front suspension/drive train:
- SAS'd/ custom 3 link setup
- Pushed 3" forward (107" WB)
- Custom Diamond Axle, H233B
- ARB air locker
- 5.571 gears
- Yukon hubs
- Reid racing knuckles (Kingpin Dana 60)
- Yukon Dana 60 inner shafts
- 14 inch travel Sway Away coil overs with 2.5" remote reservoir & dual rate kit
- Artec high steer arms
- JE Reel Driveshaft

Rear suspension/drive train:
- Spring over conversion
- 3 leaf add a leaf
- ARB air locker
- 5.571 gears
- JE Reel Driveshaft

Other:
- 5 37x12.5x17 MTRs (2 fairly new, 3 have some rock rash but still do well offroad and on the street) on 17" steel wheels
- Midland CB radio
- ARB twin air compressor (controls lockers and used to air up tires)
- Engo winch
- RLC weld fab front bumper
- Trail gear sliders
- Custom made tire carrier rear bumper
- 20" light bar on bumper
- 40" light bar on roof

Extras:
- hydro assist parts: reservoir, hydraulic ram, and drilled and tapped steering box
- air rams and mounts for hood (so that you can get rid of the prop rod)
- stock fog lights
- extended shackles
- stock cd player

Now, it doesn't come without a few flaws:
- The grey paint is faded (have paint waiting in the garage)
- the AC doesn't work (have all new parts still in the box to re-do entire AC system)
- there is a small power steering leak (have a new power steering line)
*I can sell it as is and can include all the parts, or I can fix these things and will be much more firm on the price.*
-Its got a couple dents and dings and scratches on the body, but its a trail rig thats used as it should be, so that should be expected.
- the wiring for the light bars could probably stand to be tidied up a bit, but they work fine as-is.
- one of the tail light guards fell off and I never found it, but they were mostly for decoration anyways.
- Finally, it has a check engine light on because of the headers and no cats/O2 sensors and the ABS light is on because, since the SAS, it no longer exists.

This was kind of the prototype vehicle used to standardize and develop this kit: https://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissa...4-p-59505.html

This is no trailer queen. It gets used as it was intended to be. It gets driven to the trail, climbs over a whole bunch of rocks and waterfalls, goes through mud, slides over some other rocks, and then, once the tires are aired back up and the hubs are disengaged, it drives home. Without fail. I have never been stuck on a trail or in any situation that I could not get out of without the help of the winch and a good spotter. The only issue I have ever actually had on a trail that kept me down for more than 5 minutes was a cut sidewall on a tire. This has been a great rig that I have driven all over the place, on and off road. I have driven it to Moab, wheeled for a week, and drove it back, twice. I take my 2 kids (in their car seats) with my wife out on the trails quite often, and still have plenty of room in the hatch for all my tools, a big cooler, etc, so it's a great family rig too. I still drive it to work 3-4 days per week, depending on if I want to ride the bike instead.

Sorry for the long post, but I'd rather it have all the info than not enough. I've priced it at what it's worth. I've got a lot more into it than this. If someone is really interested, let me know.

Possible trade for: 1972 or older muscle car or cruiser, diesel 4x4 truck, or anything else that may peak my interest. Trade must be of close to equal value unless cash is involved on either end (I'm not trading this for some beat up stock XJ or a Ford with an IDI and 300k miles...). Either trade or cash, it matters not, just need it gone in not too long.

The Craigslist posting for it is here:

The build thread for it can be found here:

NOTE: The first 5 pictures below are what it looked like when the grey was freshly painted. The picture at the top of this post is what it looks like today. I will be washing it and cleaning the interior this weekend. May get a chance to get the AC knocked out as well. Also may decide to freshen up the paint, who knows?

I prefer driving a manual when on the streets, but when it comes to wheeling on the rocks and going up waterfalls, I'll take an automatic all day long. Nothing worse than watching my buddies that drive a standard stalling out when going up a waterfall or trying to navigate an undercut at the base of a ledge.

That's because they're not good at using the man pedal.

Here you can see where the driver seat came apart at the seam; I may go ahead and take a needle and thread to it this weekend. Also there is a spot in the floor mat that has been rubbed through to the rubber, but the rubber is still solid.

Yes, I still have the cupholder inserts.

Well, the X is on its way to a new home. Good luck to the new owner! She's been a GREAT rig! Hopefully the new owner pokes his head in here at the forums and continues to enjoy it as I have. He's a fellow Xterra guy, so I am thinking he will.

Did it go to a NM guy? I was thinking about buying it for Ethan but he wants a Jeep so he can afford to build it himself.

I thought you gave the sleeper to your son? Did he not want it for your aforementioned reason of wanting to build something himself?

We're going to SAS the sleeper and gear it to be more of a trailer rig. We'll share the sleeper for a while - Ethan lives in the college dorms now and doesn't have a place to store/work on it. I'll start my truggy build soon, hopefully he will have a garage of some sort by the time the truggy is wheelable. I asked him if he was interested in Dave's rig but he's looking for more of a daily driver that he can take on occasional camping trips.

Actually went to a guy from the Northeast. He flew down here and drove it back. I think it was a 25 hour drive to get it back, or something like that.

I'd gladly drive that rig across the country. Happy to hear that worked out for you but I hope you aren't going to disappear from the world of Nissan wheelers. You've made a bunch of friends that will miss having you around.

Talk to you later bud.
