So I took a trip to Richland Rd. a few weekends ago and while airing my tires back up after words I noticed my mv50 pump was making some noise. I aired up to about 28psi and left it at that (normally run around 30). A few days ago I went out to finish airing up my tires and after about 30 seconds of running the pump made another funny noise and stopped making compression. After pulling it apart I found one of the reed valves had broke apart into about 4 pieces. After looking around online at ways to make my own reed valves or finding replacements I sent an email to Superflow (q industries) about sourcing replacement parts. I sent the email last night and to my surprise this morning I had an email saying to give them my address and they would send me a replacement valve plate for free. I have been really happy with my little pump considering how much I have used and abused it over the last 3 years, but after getting service like that from the company I am even happier. I have a viair pump that I intend to install as my main pump for my locker, but I will probably keep this guy as a spare, and hopefully get many more years out of it.
