Username: Mr_Scott (Chris)
YMM: 2006 Nissan Xterra
Trim: "S" A/T
Color: Super Black

Story time: 2009 was a crazy year for me. Renting with my GF and her daughter (Shel) with a 2007 WRX in the driveway quickly went to: married, mortgaged, 2004 Xterra, pregnant (Taylor), 2006 Xterra, pregnant (Kyndal)....and DONE! That, in a nutshell, is how I ended up with my awesome wife Tamara, 3 weirdo girls, my kick ass home, and my 2006 Xterra that I am also very fond of.

That said, I obviously have to spread the cash over a lot of areas so this is going to be a slow and steady build. You might wanna grab a Snickers, this could take awhile.

Engine/Drivetrain:
Valvoline Synpower 5-30, Dynomax CB, Bypassed with piggy-back "bar and plate" ATF cooler, Rear diff breather mod, Amsoil in the AT, TC, front and rear diffs.

Suspension:
PRG 2" spacers w/cam bolt kit, Single AAL, Bilstein 5125's, F&R swaybars removed, Power Slot rotors w/EBC Greenstuff pads.

Wheels/Tires:
285/75/16 General Grabber AT2's on DIY powder coated stock "S" wheels. 285 spare in stock location.

Body/Frame:
Rusto bedlined plastics, DIY powder coated grill, DIY sliders, DIY aluminum engine & AT skids, Curt hitch.

Electrical:
Old Alpine single din with iPod control w/160G iPod in the glove box. Cobra 18 WX ST II, 4' Firestik II

Gear/Recovery:
Decent amount of tools, 30' strap, 10lb fire ext, shovel.

Next Mod:
I really need to get trail comms taken care of. Plan on doing my CB install after I do some more homework. Done! Highest swr was 1.08:1 This went so much smoother than expected.

Thanks for looking!

Nice looking X. I like that you got the little ones involved too. Welcome to the Nation!!
Thanks man! I really enjoy my time with the kids and I'm pretty sure they enjoy the time with their dad. Win for everyone.

Awesome build so far!

That license plate...oh man. I laughed hard.
Much appreciated!

Haha I'm glad you said something I had missed that. Great looking build man. What do you mean by diy powder coating?
I have this thing about paying people to do things that I feel like I can pull off on my own (Sounds weird but I'm gonna go with it). I was having a hard time finding wheels that I liked so, I started looking into PC'ing them. Well, after getting a few quotes back I decided to look into the process and found that it's stoopid easy to do at home. My wife bought me a PC gun for my B-day, my sister in-law got a new oven so I got the old one and the rest is history. Now I can PC anything I want, any time I want for pennies. How freaking cool is that!? Gun, installing a 50A circut in my garage (that I needed anyways for my welder), sand blasting my wheels and all the powder/ accessories I needed, I'm in it for less than $350.
