Mounting opinion?

Have an LED light bar and want to mount it on the wind deflector on the roof. My reasoning for doing this would be to still allow for carrying items on the roof.

Anyone see a reason that I shouldn't do this? The plastic seems sturdy enough.

Plastic is never sturdy enough,, ever. Think about mounting it to the rails behind the air dam instead.

If you look at the front air dam, it has screws that keep it in place. If you wanted to mount it there, just get longer bolts. My 40" bar lines up directly with factory mounts. If you get longer screws, it will hold it just fine.

I didn't check to see what gen he has, if he has a 1-1.5 then his options are more limited lol.
