What's up guys, like the title states I'm a newb to this forum. A little background(not that you guys care) I recently got my X about a weeks ago after killing my other car :( sad day. I had a 2006 VW Jetta loved everything about the car and I'm no stranger to modding. With that out of the way I have recently acquired a 2004 Nissan Xterra XE 4x4. Has 77k on her and a couple of Bruises but nothing I can't handle. I bought the car from a dealership in memphis. My questions are:
-On the fender well there are pieces of trim, on my back passenger side it's broken at the bottom, and on the front drivers side it's totally missing the trim. Does anyone have a part number/website/etc where I can order some more of these?
-what are some good/cheap mods for a beginner?

I can't wait to get into the X community and will try and post some pictures sometime tomorrow. It's going to be a little different than my Jetta that was lowered and had a little more spunk than the X but nonetheless I'm super excited!

Thanks guys!

Welcome in!
Is this the part? The corners on the rear?

You could buy them new but your best bet would be to look around at junkyards for a wrecked X then pull its parts if they aren't destroyed.

As for mods you have lifts, resonator delete, painting plastics, muffler swap, audio, etc.
The lifts for a 2004 X are a 2" Body Lift or, 1.5" Suspension (rear shackle and front torsion bars), and all together you can have a total of 3" suspension lift but I haven't ever looked into what you have to do to get it to total 3"

Just tell us what you are thinking mod wise and we can help point you in the right direction. Also the search option is handy.

Aaron for a total of 3"s of lift for the front you would need all new Upper control arms, ball joints, and stronger torsion bars to hold the load if you have a winch bumper and winch, for the rear you would need just a new lift shackles and a few more AAL(add a leafs) and that should lift it in all around 3" :D

Welcome to the Nation!!

That gray strip can be removed along with the mud flaps and step rails :)

Take a gander around the site and you will see why.

Where at in Louisiana are you?

Welcome to The Nation!

If you're really interested in replacing those trim pieces on the wheel arches, I've got a full set of 4 that I won't be putting back onto my truck. Shoot me an offer via PM if you're interested!
