I moved to Western NH about 2 years ago, and quickly realized my Altima wouldn't cut it with the Mountains and snow. I liked my Altima so I stuck with the family and after test driving the Frontier and Xterra I felt the Xterra was a smoother ride. (again when driving over a barely paved mountain every day that's key) When the dealer said "I know there's a puke green one in the showroom my manager's desperately trying to get rid of" I knew it was meant to be.
My neighborhood is all Jeep enthusiasts, 3 of them are always mod'ing and off roading their Jeeps. I went out with them over the summer on a fairly easy trail and had a blast. The thing is all 3 Jeeps aren't their every day cars and 2 are fairly rough rides on smooth surfaces.
I look on this site and see some great mod's, I was just curious if your Xterras are your every day cars, or if they are mainly just having fun on the trails. Do you notice a difference? Just wondering if I plan on keeping it as my every day car and do some trails if people with experience have any tips.
