My company sent 6 ambulances to Baton Rouge Monday night...not sure where they went once Isaac made landfall, but yeah...that's most of our Disaster Response Team. I'm on the relief deployment, should they need additional resources.

Either way, they're there.

We have a medium rescue team here at the fire department I work for. We were put on stanby to deploy a few days ago. Doesn't look like we will be going though.

Our radio station in Nawlins took a massive hit: top 100' of the tower is now on the ground. Station was off the air while we looked to sell it, but we have to turn it back on in three weeks to avoid turning in the license. I've been told that the only thing damaged due to the fall was a truck at the neighbor's yard; no one was hurt. A crappy situation for us, but it could've been much worse.
