I just found this site and joined up with a little help from drbandkgb. I'm a long time Nissan fan, and I just bought a 2001 Xterra XE-V6 4WD. It is replacing a 1994 Pathfinder SE-V6 4WD that I offroaded all over the place for the past 10 years. I've also owned 2 Maximas. I worked as a salesman at a Nissan dealership from 97 - 02. I'm out of sales now, thank gobble! Now I work in healthcare, big change huh? Married with 2 young kids. Spend all my free time outdoors, camping, backpacking, etc. Until a couple years ago, rock climbing was my big passion. My Pathy took me all over on climbing trips, but not so much time for that anymore, plus my bones don't heal as fast nowadays!

This looks like a great site, hope to learn more about mods for my X, and hope I can contribute some knowledge too. The X feels so much like my Pathfinder, it's great.

Welcome to the nation! Got any pics of the Pathy or your "new to you" X?

Yep, here's the X...

Here's the Pathy...

Pathfinder had just a T-Bar crank and this photo shows it with 31" Treadwrights.

If you'd like to post pictures directly to the page rather than in link form you can click the small button that looks like a picture frame and it will bring up a box for you to copy your hyperlink in.

^This.

I guess I didn't know they used T-bars on the Pathy, either. Learn somethin' every day I guess...

It's pretty amazing how alike the old Pathy and the Xterra are. The X kinda picked up where the Pathfinder left off, while the new Pathy went all uptown. I feel right at home in the X, it has such a similar feel as my old rig.
