Was out on the trail with a group yesterday and had been wheeling all day with no problems. I went up a hill with a medium sized step on it and lost my momentum. Being that the hill was steep and rocky I was in 4-LO. After i lost momentum and stopped, I put the truck in neutral and rolled back a few feet. Put it into drive and a loud steady beep came from the dash. After getting up the hill I looked closer at the dash and my 4wd light was on and the screen showing whether or not 4wd was engaged had gone blank.
I put the truck on flat ground, put it in neutral and shut it off for a few seconds. After turning it back on, the warning light was off and the screen was then functional. Everything felt and sounded fine. But later in the day when using 4-LO at slow speeds over rocks it felt as though the vehicle was not giving me nearly as much power to get over rocks as it usually does with 4-LO engaged. Throughout the day I played with it a little and no warnings came on but it continued to feel less powerful than usual while in 4-LO.
Do y'all have any ideas what might be going on? If it happens again I'm gonna take it in to have the diff and computer looked at...
