Grille Guard Question

I need a quick answer. I found a guy on craigslist who has a grille guard for sale. He has what looks to be a 2002-2004. Will it fit my 2000??? I've got him down to $60 bucks and need to know if it will work.

It'll fit but it'll look very weird seeing the 02-04 has rounder headlights than the 00-01.

Plus I weary because he says it will fit a 1998 to 2008.....

If you're not going to sell your Xterra, I'd just save the money and save up for an aftermarket winch bumper....so many to chose from...ARB, Shrockworks, RLC....

Plus, the brushguards are known to cause more damage than originally intended for....aka damage multiplier.

I'm keeping it. I would love to have a shrock but don't have a grand! I do have 60 bucks for what I think would be a cheap visual upgrade.

Never mind, I was too slow. It'd be an easy enough buy to try it out.

Yes. It's paid for and decided not to go in debt. Plus I would probably have a break down seeing someone else drive it off.

But you have been warned about that its not designed for extreme offroading or anything like that, it is called damage multiplier for a reason...even a 10mph collision will cost you in more damages than without the brushguard.

If its the "OEM" one, it should be the same for 00-04.

I agree with TN4x4. Not a reliable guard against impact. Only really guards against what it is named for, brush..... I think drbandkgb has a pic of brushguard failure in his photobucket.........
