so driving home today from training caught my pocket knife on a "small" tear i had in the seat and made a fairly large one :D. now i need to get covers for all of them. i hate how leather wears.

Anyone know of other companies than neoprene, coverking that make fairly reliable seat covers for a decent price? i had neoprene in my diesel, and well during the summer when its 115+ around here they stick to me like glue even with limited clothing around here.

Some of the 1.5gens had leather, so I don't see why it isn't entirely possible for a 1st gen to have it too..

I have the OEM neoprene. They are hot as HELL and make me sweat, but they've saved my cloth seats enough times to make it worth a little sweat.

It was a dealer option perhaps, but non had a factory leather interior.

If that were the case, we could order a factory package replacement interior, which non are listed, in leather.

Xterra, everything you need, nothing you don't. You don't need leather. And they didn't want to push it towards the Pathfinder.

Leather also wasn't available in the Frontier either.

It was a dealer added package called the Xtreme package. A google search finds a few of them, but it's pretty rare.

I bought these at walmart and had then in my jeep...they got rained on and were water proof pretty much. They are more like a vinyl and they do stick to skin in the hot summer.

I loved them though!
Don't mind how they look like they don't fit....I was just to lazy to get under the seat and hook them up to make them tight. I think they are like $30-$40 for 2.

We had the Mile High Edition here, but there were a couple of different versions of it. Added about a $1k to the price. We only had a couple of them over the years.

The 2nd Gens looked pretty good with leather too. But they were pricey to begin with, so the dealership didn't do too many of those either. We received the vehicles with leather, all packaged out, still with fabric. But a week later they'd show up on the showroom floor with leather and some paint matched bits.

But they were never factory leather.

One might be able to call the originating dealership and find out where they had it done. Might be able to get it repaired or have them put some actual leather (not the fake stuff) in the high wear areas. Like the King Ranch Edition Fords, where they use actual leather for their seats.
