Anything special about doing one? :questions:
Is there a writeup yet or can mine be the first :w00t: after some explains it to me?

Ah pretty simple... remove diff... work like hell to remove old bushings.

I had to burn the rubber out then... use a sawsall to cut the metal rings so that they could be removed.

Make sure you have the new sleeves. Stock ones will not work.

Oh and use a marker to mark the area above the bolts. Do this before you remove the diff while its still in the truck. This way when its out you know exactly how far to rotate your drop bushings. If I remember right the front curves back slightly. Much better then installing and removing the diff several times.

They are not bad to do, did mine when I did the front locker in a spare diff so I had all the time in the world. Make sure that you have all of the parts before you pull the diff. My kit was missing one set of the bushings. And knowing before the diff is out is a lot easier to deal with.

I do have an SL but I'm about to swap out Rancho UCA's for AC's, add the IAB, low pro bump stops and bushings. Figured while I was there I'd do the diff drop as well.

I ordered the AC diff drop w/sleeves. Got the sawzall but I like the cutting wheel better (more sparks for the grandson). AC said at first that the sleeves needed to be pressed in so I asked them to do it for me. They said ok.

Just waiting for it to warm up a little.
