Feeding wire to the inside/Updated With Install photos

Will be installing some LED lights soon. Need to run power from engine side, to the inside of the cab.

I am guessing, feed through this location.. either that 1/2" black Gromment spot.. Just poke a rod through.. and In theory it should show up on the inside of the cab under the driver side kick panel. Just to the left of the brake????.. I THINK???

Photo, engine driver side back right corner.

Or Poke rod through that bigger Rubber gasket, with the larger coil of wires running through the firewall.? That should be the same Wires as in the driver side kick panel?.
Photo for the inside drivers kick panel on the firewall. Can see big wires and rubber gasket..

Does that sound right??. Do not want to screw up, guessing that is the easy way to the inside. Rather ask, then to make a boo boo.

bad enough.. trying to reach those Switch blanks.. need tiny hands to reach them.

You can just pop that grommet right out and put a nice clean hole in the middle. It exits just above the brake pedal (it's actually where the clutch pedal mounts on an MT). I have soooo many wires coming out of that little thing.

I just tape up the wire to a small hole punch and push it right on through. I am probably in the 20+ wire range now and some of those are bundles.

This is where I sent the harness for the temp sensor on the mirror:

Here's where it comes in on the inside:

I've since added more wires to the loom, electric ATF-cooler fan, ATF temp sensor wires from the transmission pan, etc.

Thx for Great photos, of wire location and Just like I had imagined.. Spot was correct... Now, I feel better in poking wires on through. Had fear of hitting something to only hear POOF crackle Pop.

Hmmm... time to plan more mods now.

Won't hit a thing, just some thick insulation that will fold back a bit. I've added wires to the small loom I put through there a couple of different times. It's a really nice place to pass wires through to the cabin. Good luck!

Well, thx to the info regarding poking wire through that Rubber grommet.. It popped right out, leaving a nice Yellow Foam backing. Feeding wires was a breeze. Just need to find cover for it now, that can protect wires & keep water And yellow Jackets out.

Got my Aurora 5Watt led Lights the other day. Dam good lights..

Photo's of Proof. No photo's did not happen, right!.

2.5 hours to install, few Choice words of new wizdom tossed out. Some beer, blood.. DONE.

Got to Mention did not want to take dash down, for adding one switch. Did the Reach around poke curse & yank. ( should have hired a small child to do that shesh)

Installed lights, just above the Lic plate.. drilled and sandwich two big washers for a base on the plastic. nice & Solid!. Will see how it handles going down Washboard logging roads.. If too much wiggle, going to Hard mount bracket mount them.

yep, lic plate is expose.. No sense hiding a Public plate, It's on file ;-) Plus, Got Fancy Smart phone, they track my speed & location And shopping patterns. ( Hmm.. need to make Faraday cage.)

They shine a blueish Hue, the Plastic protective film is on still.. Removed, for Night time aiming... Them things are bright!!!!... LOVE Them... Now, get to see the Road kill before impact!.
