I guess I started like many, if not almost all of people here - I either had a question/issue and uncle G brought me here, or I wanted to mod something and the same search engine brought me here.
I have been in forums but mostly computer or electronics related, and the only car-related one I have been a part of was Thunderbird and Cougar Club of America, which I stopped visiting when I was forced by life to get rid of my 5.0
Then my son expressed the need to get his hands on a vehicle because he felt cars was gonna be his path in life, and I told him there was no way he was gonna mess with my 2015 Frontier in case he, well, messed things up. By then I had one year and a half with my Frontier, have already made some mods, and had the idea to get an Xterra (no idea why) so I got my '07 in late 11/2022. We proceeded to change the fluids, then the rad/hoses (SMOD prevention), and since I had a set of Bilsteins I removed from my Frontier when I put in a Rough Country 2.5in lift kit, I just sourced a pair of Ranchos for the front and we tore the whole suspension down, front and back....and that's when I finally got my hands dirty (the mechanically related things done to the Fronty I had them done, I only dealt with electric/light related) and got fully immersed on this and down we go the rabbit hole...
I'm not going to lie, most of my time I spend on TNX, but I git my SPC UCAs and something else from this forum.
I paid the small fee in Aoril last year and just did it this year because I do feel it is worth it. I have a TNX decal, and I just ordered my XN decal from Graveyard yesterday.
I have already started to oopulate my build thread but I am sooo behind (compared to the TNX thread) but I will get there.
