UGH, ok So I had my cb tuned about 1.5 ish at 1 and 40 then the freaking ground cable came loose and refused to stay mounted, So i cut and re-clamped the connection and mounted. And now I get a reading of like around 5 on chan 1 and 10 on 40. I've adjusted the tuning tip and it seems to only get worse. I think im using 14 or 16 ga wire. Anyone got any ideas do i need to use a larger ga cable for the mount ground? Gotta get this figured out by moab so if someone has any idea id love to hear it. CB are not my expertise, this is the first one ive done and it did work until the ground came loose.
