Bike rack recommendations...

Looking to haul around 4 bikes. Is there other options to the hitch bike rack? Not that I mind it, just seeing what's out there. If it matters, I'll be hauling 2 mountain bikes (my 26" and my wife's hybrid 32"), a 20" BMX and a 18" girl's bike.

are you opposed to a roof rack? theres a bunch of different kinda of hitch mounted styles, and if you keep your eyes on bonktown.com or chainlove.com you might be able to get a deal there, they have had some on there the past few weeks for like $115 or so and shipping isnt usually too bad thru them.

For 4 bikes at a time a hitch rack is the only way to go. It keeps them out of the wind while on the road, easy to lock up, and easy to get to. I only put stuff on the roof as a last resort, after a while it just gets to be a royal pain to get stuff up and down from there.

Thanks for the replies, ya'll. Not opposed to a roof rack at all. I do, however, already have a PML and may do a BL later on. If I do, I'll also be thinking of adding a basket and moving my spare up top to make room for an OBA in the spare tire area. If that all happens, then I wont be able to house bikes up top. Looks like the hitch mount is the way to go (at least the most practical for me). Anyone had any experience with the Allen bike rack? I've seen these on Ebay for pretty cheap (less than $100).
