Hey everyone, im new to XN but have been on TheNewX.org.

I was making up a whole bunch of battery tie downs for the guys on there and was informed about this site and to come post over here.

These would be shipped bare metal so you can paint to your liking. These are approx 2"x7"x1/4" thk. Also if anyone is familiar with plasma machines, there is a good side and a bad side, so one of the sides will not look perfect, but the other side will be much cleaner. This is going to be made of steel

Just to make sure everything is clear as mud, pieces are shipped bare metal (steel)

Will fit any flat top battery with a width under 6.8"

Price is $25 shipped in the Lower 48 and Canada.

He has some already to be sold and shipped out, I referred him over here. I'm sure if there is enough interest here and over on tnx he'd make more.

I just ordered one. So far, it's the one thing I've bought this holiday season that I'm most looking forward to getting. And to think, before I woke up this morning I didn't know they existed! And I much rather buy this one from a fellow Xer than some generic Stillen or some other brand tie-down. This was a great idea!

I'll be sure to post up a picture once I get it painted and installed.

I am just curious, does the plate come with the long bolts that hook to the base plate under the battery?

Got one for MississippiGal's X in the mail today! Looks great, and we'll post pics as soon as the weather lets us get it painted.

Eternal PM'd me Christmas Eve or the day before to say he was shipping a batch out either that day or the day after Christmas. They're coming from Canada, so they have to clear customs first. I don't expect mine until after New Year's.

Wow J. Your engine is super freaking clean! I havent seen mine that clean since the first 2 days i owned it, seeing on day 3 i took it to Rausch for the Shocker Run last year. LOL But it looks sweet against that yellow battery.

Thanks!

Actually I had just wiped it down to take this picture; it's generally covered in a layer of white limestone dust. I don't do a lot of playing in the mud, except to get down the trail to our hunting lease, so it's mostly dust from work and sand from the beach.

I got mine a while back, I had to ghetto rig it. Apparently my Optima battery is a lot shorter than the "factory" battery so I had to put something in between the battery and the tie down lol. eventually i'll fix it
