Been reading and watching a lot of news coming out of the Boulder area regarding the flooding. It looks pretty awful out there. Anybody have any news that's not getting reported? I know the bridge that you have to take to a lot I was looking at just outside of Boulder was wiped out. It's just crazy what is going on.

Stay safe guys.

Safe and sound up here in Fort Collins, but we're also not getting hit too bad compared to Boulder/Longmont/Estes areas (though the Cache La Poudre River here is still above flood stage, but at least roads are open again). Unfortunately wheeling here in Northern Colorado is pretty much out of the question for the foreseeable future, even if you could get to the trails (which you can't) most would probably be washed out and impassible.

It is amazing the damage that water can cause. I've been reading the news, following fellow Xer's FB posts and seeing youtube videos of all that water carnage. Wow! I hope everyone stays safe and as dry as possible.

We had flash floods last week in the desert area S of Treasure Valley. So many trails were just wiped away. Good plan to avoid wheeling for a bit.

My family is safe and sound. My mother-in-law's home is probably 80-90% loss.
Garden level condo so the structure survived. Almost all belongings, furniture, flooring etc is toast. Some very good friends went and helped her today.
I hope everyone else is safe, too.

Just crazy weather.
Seems the storms are very localized and intense, and repeat offenders!

Don't remember a monsoon season like this ever in this portion of the west.
Humidity has been extremely high for going on 3 weeks straight now, thus thunderstorms nearly every evening, and lots of them violent.

Feel like I'm back east again???

Be safe!

Now that the rain has finally stopped here we've gone straight back into summer, hot sunny days with little to no chance of rain, crazy.

Ran the bike into work today, was wearing a hoodie. I like the cooler temps but was sweating in the shop this afternoon. Could've ridden yesterday too. But when I had to pick my bike up in Evergreen on Sunday I was completely drenched when I got home. Rain was coming down in sheets. Now, like it never even happened.

We're going to the Little Bear on Friday night to see the Railbenders. Have to see what's left of the North side of the street. I heard that the bank, Baskin Robbins and even Beau Jeau's is a complete loss. I don't know how many meals I've had at Beau Jeau's. That's the worst part of it for me. Well, that and Jack's is wiped out. Saturday I went by Evergreen Lake and the parking lot at Jacks was just filled with foam. Crazy shyzza, for sure.
