Can't stop won't stop.
Wish I was in that type of spot. I work for a family owned company and when I'm out things go to shiat. For me its deal with it myself and keep work caught up or take a day and try to get 2 days done in one. The bad part is I've been here more than 20 years and really do love them like a second family so if something comes up its going to be a really really hard decision.

The company i work for is very small right now we have 2 other employees that aren't family one started Monday. They pay me well but damn if when I'm gone they could take care of themselves. They are like extended family to me but as I'm pushing 50 I would really like to have they type of job were if I dont do it someone else will. I ain't in that now. If I'm out there's more than a days worth of work for me to get done.

Do t get me wrong there's a hell of a lot of perks. For example if I need to take a few hours to go to a kids grade school end of the year program there's no discussion just hey I'm not coming in till its over or when my step son graduated Air Force boot camp the boss used his airline miles to give me 3 free round trip tickets to San Antonio. But they rely on me and some days I wonder how they would be able pay their bills if I left.

The Samsung A8 that Walmart keeps on the shelf is pretty good for the money as long g as you're not trying to play a bunch of online games.

I use it for mapping and reading.
The Tab A8? Or phone A8? Their naming conventions are wonky. The product page for the Tab A8 doesn’t mention GPS, but I found the Q&A section on Best Buy said it did. But then Walmart online has what seems like the same thing but one for $99 and one for $149. Not sure if there’s an updated version or what’s going on with that.

Does the one you have handle Gaia without crashing or messing up? If so and if it’s light enough to put in my arms I may pick one up for dedicated Gaia usage.

Tab A8. 8" version. They have a 10" too I think. It has GPS. I held off buying for a long time because I couldn't get good confirmation on the GPS but I finally jumped on it and it does.

It runs Gaia fine. It's older tech and slower than the $300+ tabs they make but the screen touch is good and battery life is good.

All in all, I'm happy with it.

The black one is $99, silver is $150..
Ah, I see that now. If you click the black there’s a silver option on that page. But if you click directly to the silver there’s no option for the black. Since one had two color options and the other didn’t I thought it was a different listing at first glance.
