Here's part of mine.

My brother in law helped me build this. The top is from a piece of plywood that my grandpa used to roll his computer chair on. He passed away a year ago so it meant a lot to me to be able to build something useful with it.

and this was my creative way to use both of my speakers and not build two mounts :D

I do most of my mod stuff at work but if it doesn't require machine tools I utilize my garage. When I built it this setup was mostly intended for working on my other hobby but it works just fine for my Xterra. :)

My work area at home.

And the left side where no Xterra work goes on but a lot of very fine ammunition is produced. ;)

No homo but RacerXXL "working area" just gave me a hard on...
I used to have a great garage in a building my farther-in-law owned. I lost it when he sold the place and I'm on the street (driveway) for now. My tools are scattered between home and work...very sad...

How hard is it in NYC to find a place to work on your X?
Indoor garage space is very dear within the city. I pay $300 a month for a space in a shared outdoor lot for my commercial work van so you can imagine what a private indoor locked and alarmed space would be to rent. I'm looking for a building to buy that I could use as investment property but finding one that would work and that I can afford is difficult. My farther-in-law got $1.2 for his building that would have been perfect but I can not swing that kind of cash. I've got a parking space off the street at my house that I use now but it's outdoors and there is no place for my compressor or to lock up tools. I need to work something out. Wah wah wah...RacerXXL's garage is sweet...

Sounds like it's time for a change of scenery fully based on the fact you need a place to work on mods. ;)

My gary is an absolute mess right now... and I've got the trailer in it. However I can still park the X in it when I need to...

My steel work and welding table... it's great having a solid steel table I can weld to.. there's also a bench clamp that's on there just not at the moment

Got a dog crate under the tarp.. she likes to kick it with me in the gary... along with my mannequin, brother's art, ipod and speakers, and death cab for cutie autographed drum head

Paint cabinet and work table with crap all over it.. also notice the shop rolly chair... every garage needs one.

I put cardboard up on the walls behind the work benches... kind of a backsplash/insurance in case anything happens. This is the main work bench, wood so I can drill into it, also have strips of the soft part of velcro glued on for paint sensitive stuff... as well as a bunch of hand tools and whatnot.

The trailer.. with more shiat on it...

Heavy duty steel cabinet from the hangar... got it fo free with the steel work bench

also full of tools and stuff...
