Oddity of oddities. CO requires both plates. Already dumb.

One plate came with stickers attached. The other, no stickers.

So they are requiring me to have a front plate, but it has no indication of its validity. ufcking stupid.

Nobody here has personalized plates. It's not a cost thing. Because they're literally $25/year. Which is the exact same price as VA. And VA has more personalized plates than any state ever.

There's two possibilities.

1) it's a cultural thing and nobody sees a need to spend $25/year on them.

B) nobody knows how cheap / easy it is.

I'm kind of leaning towards B. When I went to the dmv there was no signage. Zero. Regarding the idea of personalized plates. I gave the lady all of the paperwork. None of the paperwork has options for personalized plates. She said nothing. Just started chugging on the computer. After about 15 minutes, she commented, "almost done."

It was at that point I had to prompt her and say, "oh, btw, I want these design plates and I want the same plate number as my VA registration has."

She looked really annoyed. As if I had to make her do extra work.

Oh its like 4x that a year here at a MINIMUM. Its outrageous. Your plate would cost us a $50 one time fee plus $195 a year ($495 for five years)

We have to have both plates too. My truck came from a no front plate state so it has no mount. Ive never ordered one, and I hate the look so ive ran it for 12 years without it. I get stopped randomly but never ticketed. ufck a front plate. Also we have no stickers on plates anyway so neither has an “indication of validity”.

I didn’t buy any tickets last night, but I think I will for this. Not really big into buying lottery tickets.

I agree. ufck front plates. When I had the Mustang painted I had the holes for the plate bracket filled so it can't accept a front plate.

That's what really gets me on this though. If it had stickers, fine. But without stickers, why can't I just have any garbage on the front instead of a plate? It's ufcking stupid.

We have similar front plates depending on the provinces you live in. The one I live in now only has a sticker on the rear one but you only need to get the vehicle inspected once unless you buy it new from a stealership but the province I lived in had front and rear plates but mandated that the vehicle be inspected every year to be able to renew the stickers. It really sucks considering I’ve lived in 4 provinces so far

Same as Massachusetts as of a number of years ago (not sure how long exactly. 15? 20?)

Rearranged comic room / office. Sold some books at the comic shop. Picked up a new one. First appearance of bat-wang. Comic being pulled from shelves / banned because it shows a dick lmao. Reprint is supposed to have it removed. Will most likely flip it.
