Looks great! The off set on those new rims make a huge difference in the look of the truck.

It honestly looks like you have these tires sitting beside your actual rims and tires haha. It doesn't look reallllll!!!

You probably said it but, what's the backspacing? 3.75?

-38mm offset. They're 15x10 wheels, too. I still can't believe they are finally on! Has them forever in my garage it feels like.

Are these the same rims that you were waiting on (to get a 4th)?

Yeah, Jonny. I have 4, obviously( lol ) but one is slightly scratched up so Discount is ordering me a new one and when it comes in they will swap it out for me, no charge.

How is that going to impact your flex? I fear for your fenders.

Well, when it comes time, Sawzall will make another debut. However I won't be flexing too much as it will be a street queen for a bit. I have to focus alot of my income towards my company, I can't afford to bust parts out wheeling right now. Flex wasn't an issue. Plus I like dirt roads and mudholes more than flexy rocks :D
I'll continue do some less expensive mods, like making the snorkel eventually and some aesthetic mods I have been thinking of. When this company gets rolling and can sustain itself, I plan for the X to become a full time wheeler and buy myself another DD.

Well then I have to ask. What is your business?

/fellow small business owner

My friend and I are starting our own Pest Control company down here. It's big with the retirement communities. We've both worked for other companies (Which I shall not name) and seen how half ass they are run and how some of the other employee's do their work. We're sick of it, especially when we were the ones called to go back and fix someone else's screw up. Decided to go off on our own, my buddy is already certified with the state of FL to apply pesticides and treat residential/commercial so we'll work under his license. His father in law is willing to give us a fairly substantial loan to get started with. So basically, we just need to let our work and advertising do the rest, equipment won't be an issue. We do want to get the loan paid back as quickly as possible, though so the company can start generating profit. Until then, we need to kind of sustain ourselves. So my GF's income will be maintaining our household for the time being, which I hate having that whole burden fall on her. So after I get my truck in running shape, I wont be playing for a while to try and keep unnecessary costs down to a minimal.

Best of luck with it. It's really hard to get off the ground. We are about to start our 4th year. Some times are miserable, some times are fun. My best advice, take whatever you think it will cost to get started and double it. Also, make sure you funnel away your tax money. Or do withholding. Owning $15k to uncle Sam every year sucks.

Thanks for the heads up. My gf is a tax nut so she'll keep us on par with that. Also our startup costs should be covered for us.

Got to play a little today. Not much since it is still running weird. Mainly my buddies and their trucks/jeeps.

Well... There Nissan here in town is the most USELESS place on earth. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Not to mention trying to pull fast ones on me to obtain more money. I told them specifically what I've done to the truck and it's NOT throwing a code. Guy said "Okay" we'll dig into it for you. $95 bucks will be the charge. Me: "Sure". They call me about 45 minutes after I drop it off saying; "Well, we've taken the belts off and it's not throwing any codes, it's not that. My tech is going to have to tear the front end apart because he thinks it's the water pump, it's going to be about 4-5 hours worth of work so another $500 dollars." Uhmmm, did he ignore everything I told him previously!?!?!? Now I somehow can't manage to get a hold of him to tell him don't freaking touch anything, I want my truck back and they aren't getting a dime from me because they are idiots....

Stand your ground on it, man

Dude that is really terrible, what they did. Goodluck dealing with them. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks guys. I ended up paying $45 for the diagnostics instead of the full $95. The techs did run it through their computers at least, so I'll give them that. However according the a Genuine Nissan scanner, my truck is running fine. No internal codes are being thrown....WTF!? Obviously whatever is causing this noise is mechanical then. Back to the drawing board. I guess at least for now, I can rest assured knowing that my truck is running somewhat healthy. I mean, Like I've mentioned, it starts up fine, shifts, and drives fine, the 4x4 works. Hell, I even got the evap code to go away, found out there's a small plate on the passenger side behind the front wheel, one of those hoses dry-rotted off connecting to the evap canister. Cut a small piece of hose and clamped on it and my CEL has been off for 3 weeks now. So, the two things left on my lift is to continue to diagnose the noise and relocate my Knock sensor. Then I can get back to maybe some fun mods, like painting and a DIY snorkel. I have to figure something out with the snorkel though. My stock airbox is warped and doesn't sit 100% accurate, or at least it appears this way. I have make my own airbox it seems for a filter...

Jesus man.

Pretty much. It's gonna be a long and fun next few weeks I'm sure. I hope my dad and I can find this mystery and knock it out. I hate driving around so slow...>.>. Dad has an automotive stethoscope he brought home so maybe this weekend we'll start poking around again.
