Well, I got some goodies in the other day...

I'm not sure when I'll get to install them. Some grim news has come up as of recent. My uncle was rushed to the ER Monday night having issues breathing. He has esophageal cancer for over a year now he's been doing chemo for it. He was rushed into the ER and his sodium was extremely low almost causing him to seize as well, they found out he's septic and both has pneumonia in both lungs. what used to be a 6 month estimated time left has now turned into maybe a few days. It does not look good. :/

its about time you got that darling some nicely leggings. lol i have them you will love them, they ride so smooth.

Haha, yeah I'm stoked to get them on. No more screeching from what's left of the Rancho's. My buddy is gonna hook me up with a deal for an alignment too at the shop he works at when I get to do my PML finally.

I won't knock them to bad, they took a massive beating this last saturday. I went out to some new spots with some Jeep buddies, I didn't think my truck would handle the stuff I was climbing but I managed to outwheel a lifted Yj. Lots of off camber terrain and steep climbs mixed in it. Wish we got pics but we had to big of a group we couldn't really stop because it was crowded in the woods.

I think I'm going to have to reindex my front some, it only came up about 0.5" and it's a wee bit raked more than what I hoped, so hopefully next weekend I'll get back under there and get that done to get maybe another 0.75" or so up. It did go up because I don't rub half as much though anymore. The bil's ride soooo nicee tooo!

Thanks mac, I had one issue with one of the front shocks, the threads were stripped on the top spindel. I had to cut the shock off, other than that it was fairly easy job.

eh, I'm going for function over fashion. I had the red rattle cans left over from some of my rim and body painting. Just used that. Not worried about it enough.

Well, I got my truck evened out a little better. The front end is as far as it'll go however before I'd cross the 0.5" gap for the bump stops. So unless I go low pro bump stops or get some UCS's any time soon, this will have to do.

Ok, Well when I painted some of my interior plastics I thought it would be cool to do the arm rest in bedliner. Well, I was wrong. It didn't scratch up my arm, rather it turned into a glue trap in the FL sun.
Example:

So, with that said, I've been dealing with this issue for a few weeks, I finally got sick of it and decided to just do a quick mod.
20130409_155438_zpsff67bd90.jpg

Took top off the console, pulled to plastic from underneath off. The paint on there is already glue like enough so I didn't even have to glue it. I had an old bandana laying around so I used it, trimmed it underneath and folded it in and screwed it back together. Everything is tight and think it came out pretty good for a 5 minute mod.

I know it doesn't match, I didn't have a camo bandana though XD. Maybe I'll replace it later if I come across one.

Hmmmmm, I'd love a nice cushioned console cover....I need to get some fabric. That looks great man, good idea.

Mac - there's a link over TNX for leather/cushioned console plus a write up. I think it was XterraCanuck that did that write up, but I'm not 100% and there is a TNX discount for it for 2nd genners.

Thanks Mac, it didn't take long at all, the what, 8 screws I think underneath the armrest? Take it off and tuck it and and trim it.
