That's freaking sweet! Is it weird I'm jonesing for my tires to wear out so I can buy new ones?

lol no, I didn't even wait for mine to wear out....in fact, I'll sell you my old ones if you want, they're a size up from yours and they're at least an AT instead of a highway oriented tire mac ;) CHEAP they are too ;) only 7500-8000 miles on em...

Muddy truck day is tuesday at school and we are suppose to have 2-4" of snow tonight and tomorrow so I knew if I waited to go mudding then I would get stuck so I went today. Only got stuck one time and I put some boards behind the rear wheels gave it to the pedal and I was out!!

Muddy truck day?! This is totally something my high school should have had, wtf!

Got 10 orange and 10 white prewired superflux Leds from Oznium.com today. I'm up to something..stay tuned..

Awesome, I love their stuff. I've got a mess of prewired super bright LEDs from them but I can't decide where to put them. I have some ideas but I need to get over the whole "I don't know if I want to put a hole there" thing.

Anywho, today for my X I checked fluids, climbed underneath and gave everything a tug and a pull, looked for anything obvious that might be saying "Hey, I'm gonna fall off in a week or two if you don't fix me". Happy to report everything looks to be in tip-top shape.

How funny is all your sides are muddy yet your mirror manages to stay clean lol.

Change your offset a little and you'll really get the sides dirty ;)

You mean the back spacing? If I don't get bigger tires ill for sure get back spacers so the wheels sit out of the wheel well.

Its FFA week thats how its muddy truck day!

My guess about the mirror is since I'm 4x2 and can't spin the front tires it didn't throw mud that high but the bak tires did in reverse

any idea whats causing this? Im thinking its cause I went mudding yesterday but there isn't that much mud on the belt. I even poured some water over it. Im thinking of driving it to dry it out and then spraying a little wd40 on it.

Will be doing a GOOD GOOD wax this week on the X.. Temps supposed to be right at 70, possibly. So, this means a good winter breakdown, as we detailers call it. :) Oh, and changing the oil too.

Put some extended shackles on that i painted and bought new grade 8 hardware for and gave it a nice wash. The shackle install would have take 30 minutes, but on nut was rounded off, so after trying a nut splitter and then a chisel I said screw it and bought a dremel tool with some cutoff wheels. So between the dremel and chisel I got it off!

Nice, that looks really good. And talk about dedication, now you've got a dremel too too. I wonder if I could get away with that excuse.....

I love my Dremel, I use it for everything. Speaking of which, I used it to raise my front bumper on Sunday. I ended up doing a good bit of trimming with it but now all of my trim is back on and the front end looks stock again (besides being 2" higher and having 33's). Will post pictures soon.

went from the pics on the last thread to this one below! I went to the car wash and they were having trouble with the soap part of the wash and told me my self wash was free lol well I had to of used the thing for 10-15 minutes until the guy cut me off lol so I only spent 2 dollars to wash it!!
In this pic I'm using my sprinkler to wash out the nasty under body...im also waiting til the engine cools off to do that part.

That is why I despise and absolutely hate mud....its a PITA to clean. When I took my 2001 to CC that mud-caked run, it took 2 full days to clean it all up, and I was still dropping chunks of mud afterwards from the SW skids....

The rear driver tire looks like your either parked on a hose or the holy man is shining down and blessing your truck for being so clean. lol

LOL I was thinking the latter!

well, today's going to be a multi-mod day...

#1: replaced the broken CB antenna, running the cable properly (this SUCKED, and I need about a 2' extension to really have it fit the way I want it to)

#2: transmission/radiator cooler bypass, I'm going to grab as much detail as I can on this on my playbook, put it in a gallon ziploc bag, and go out and knock it out in a couple minutes.

#3: tip and spray....the underside is still muddy as hell from the last time I went wheeling....two jacks and a power washer will change that after the tranny job is done.

#4: re-wash the X....obviously if I'm gonna wash under it I may as well wash the body as well.

#5: finally installing my XN and supporting member stickers.

pictures to follow after I get it all done.
