Sounds like a good problem to have. The closest one to me is 30min away. But they have purchased some land between my house and work and are supposedly going to open one by the end of next year.

When they had that whole thing come out where they dont support rainbow marriages I had a really rainbow roommate.

I walked into my apartment to him devouring a spicy chicken sammich the same day. His words?

"what? dude, it's delicious and I dont wanna get married, whatever"

I don't like the bashing of new/inexperienced members. Granted, every common question is answered several times on the forum, but forum search functions suck. Just need to remember we all started somewhere...

Don't let the douche dribblers get to you. There are good people over there, too (most of whom are here).
Just don't feed the trolls, stand your ground when you need to, and let the rest roll off you.

Ya I can imagine it's discouraging for newbies. Just 18 months ago I didn't know squat about Xterra's. Now I feel like I could take one apart and put it back together, and it's because of places like this that I gained that experience. When "those" guys are a**hats to new guys maybe they won't get that experience and that sucks.

That's key to keeping them in check. When you know you're right sticking to your guns can deflate them. You just have to prove you're right and that can be hard when someone is being difficult.

I know there are good people left. I learned a lot over there when I had my first X, and most of the stuff I learned came from the same 4 or 5 people.

I guess its a product of there being so many more members over there. More posts, more useless garbage to wade through, more members. The more people we get into Xterras the better for us, but I kind of like the size of XN. Not so big that its hard to find stuff, but not so small that its always sitting stagnant.

I am not 100% sure how it all happened, but I'm a double mod over there,
I try to call people out and tell them to chill out when I see the bashing.
