When I first started my current job I worked out on the floor, less than 3 months later they moved me to the front office. The person before me left the position with NO documentation and no one knew how to do the position, they basically said "this is what needs to be done, do it." For about the next 6 months I worked 65 hours a week, I miss the OT.

What, you mean if you work 12 hour shifts for 3 days and it gets you 4 days off? Try telling my boss that...I've been doing 12-13 hour days 5 days a week for a while now, and they STILL expected me to work today (Saturday).

But yes, OT money is sweet! Too bad I won't be using it to fund the X (not immediately at least ;) )

Sent to you from my very own piece of East Coast paradise...

I work for City govt, which means they REALLY do not want to pay OT, thus I work my 3 12s (and ev oth Weds). I rarely get called from work when not at work unless my counterparts at the other end of the week are gone and those still there need my input on something. But, like I said, rare.

Got a ticket couple months ago for going 73 in a 45... Yeah, this was my second ticket in the X. I think the problem is they stick out to much when you are driving . People are always turning to look...haha

My dad told me yesterday that the last ticket he got was going 75 in a 25 and it cost him $20.

If tickets cost that now people would be flying!

YOUR JOKING?! That's crazy.... My first car was a 1998 honda civic... It would go up to 95mph before I felt like the car was going to blow into a thousand pieces...

go look at my build thread or my facebook. when your first car is a 4 banger rolling 33x12.5"s it aint going to go fast haha.

Oh yea, you had a jeep.. Understandable. I almost bought a 4-door jeep wrangler rubicon but talked myself out of it because the X rode much better on the highway and had more torque

When I got on the highway I swear it was going to make me go deaf... Soft top + tires roaring + engine running at 3k rpms + a dynomax exhaust + my music blaring trying to cover it all up! Lol the X seemed like a luxery car when I bought it!

Oh heck, it's not worth it to drive that fast anyway with the mpgs my X gets. More mods = stick to speed limit (or at least closer to it). Bah!

It's never worth it to drive that fast, except on a professional track. 80mph is about as fast as I'm willing to go, and that's if I'm passing. I know by going that fast the risk outweighs the reward.

Anyone else having one heck of a down pour?? We did today and they are calling for a ton more tomorrow. I went through some deep spots today the water was being slashed way up over my hood, this little accord behind me didn't see the puddle cause it was dark and had to swerve at the last second or I bet it would of gotten stuck or water all inside it.
And It make my belts squeel lol

LOOK MAN!!! that was NOT my fault! I didn't even know what was going on and if I had know I'm pretty sure that it would not have gone down like that!

Wait, what were we talking about again?

I'm caught up on the "gone down" part of the statement...refresh my mind what you are referring to, since I clearly am most likely on the wrong (and dirtier) page.

Never tried that with Dr. Pepper before, but my favorite drink as a kid was Pepsi and milk...about 60% Pepsi to 40% milk. Sounds terrible but it's really pretty good! Goes great with pizza, that's when I always drank it.

Pepsi alone sounds terrible.

Well crap, it's Thanksgiving this week. Blah, so not looking forward to it. Yeah, I'm a total curmudgeon. After spending the last few years by myself for the holidays, I actually shudder at the idea of spending it with people now. Ha, Mel the hermit...

Mel the hermit! Lol you're so funny. I'm for spending it alone as well. And due to the lack of planning on my part I now have to spend it with a bunch of people. Ugh!

^Booo, hisssss! This is why I live in the country away from people, haha! You have my sympathies. Luckily I volunteer at the zoo on Thursdays and even on holidays we still go, so I'll miss out on much of the holiday celebrations by playing with the zoo creatures.
