Haven't seen either one, but I have heard great things about walking dead! I'll probably Hulu or Netflix it when I get home... They don't work outside the US...

I LOVE The Walking Dead! I think it's just like any other zombie incarnation where they do what they wish with specifics.

The walking dead is awesome! Still trying to decide if american horror story is good or not... It just confuses me sometimes. You have to watch the same episode multiple times to understand, ya know?

Okay, so i have something random to share with the nation.. Was just in the parking lot at work, chatting with a friend of mine when some woman pulled up in her car asking if I had candy. I said no, why would you ask that. She states, your car looks nice so i assumed you were rich enough to have candy in your car... What?!?! Who carries a huge bag of Halloween candy in their car??? I told her how to find the local walmart... lol. This is no joke, 100% serious...

    Haha. Funny Halloween story here.
I had a guy show up to my old house and knock when I'd already turned the lights out. He was wearing the getup from Scream and he says trick or treat. To which I replied, I have no candy man, sorry. Lol this dumb teen goes, got any beer? And this is why my light will be off tonight. Because that dumb kid made my wife afraid of halloween.

Was sick all weekend, and couldn't sleep, my 12:30 a.m. post was when I was updating the iPhone. :)

I bet "Candy" meant crack or meth, and "you have a nice car" meant you look like a drug dealer that needs to sling a little more to get some 24" bling bling. :)

:p Come on Dave, it was a crack head!!!! :p

See your doing it all wrong.... pump the shoot gun, loaded or not, THEN open the door. :)

I'd like to continue the convo that was going on in drbandkgb's for sale thread between ryandavenport and AaronsX about college and splitting your time. I'm definitely going to have to agree with ryan in that you've gotta split your time and something's going to suffer because of it.

With myself currently completing my second year, I can honestly say the one resource that helped me me the most was completing college classes while in high school. A lot of schools offer now where you can take college classes for credit while still in high school. If I did not complete those, I would have not made this far and also would not have the job I do today.

Yeah and classes when im going to be awake more instead of 7 am haha. I already have passed a sociology course, and im in a psychology class right now. Both are college classes.
Speaking of psychology I have a 3 page paper due tomorrow that hasnt been started. looks like i need to get off here lol

Edit: Xterradude05 thats what im in right now and took last year, dual credit. Gives you a H.S. Credit and college credit.

I had a full semester worth of dual credit courses done by the time I started college. Our school average for time spent on a degree was 4.5 years and I did it in 3.5 with those courses and summer school. I wish I had gone through slower and enjoyed it more but towards the end I just wanted to be done. My recommendation is take at least one hard class a semester to keep you honest and to alleviate some stress when your in your final semesters.

Haha Im having to write on "Ruby Paynes hidden rules of classes" about poverty, middle class, wealthy stuff like that. Its some what easy I just dont have the motivation to get it done at the moment but it will be done today..sometime :D

And I understand what you mean about wanting to be done towards the end..after 13 years of grade school (I did not fail a grad, 12 grades + kindergarden = 13) :) im ready to be done lol. Im hoping to enjoy college more than I do high school, cause right now...high school is not fun.

High school was the easiest, most fun time of my life. I had plenty of friends and hung out with them almost every night. I had next to zero responsibility and I could ask for money from my parents at any time. They didn't give it every time but I could usually get a little here and there to supplement my summer job stash.

what is this Weenie Wednesday! :) j/k :)

I was a music major and to major in music there were 3 to 4 classes with just a pass fail grade and you didn't even get an hour credit for them, they meet 3 hours a week, and so you still had to cover the 12 hours a semester to stay a "full time" student. But, to get out in 4 years you usually had to pull 16 to 18 hours a semester.

Oh then there was that whole private lesson thing, at least an hour a week with 10 hours a week for practice, and god forbid if you were playing in more that one band/group.

THEN!!! they made you sing in basic choir! I can't sing to save my life. I hated choir....

    Oh, i feel better.

Oh the social part of it is great but the hole get up at 6 am go til 3 pm have 7 different classes thing i dont like. I know college wont be easier it will be harder but I will enjoy the breaks between my classes and the freedom!

I love the social part, I have tons of friends that I hang out with all the time and I dont really have any responsibilities besides school, stuff at home, and my summer job. As for the parents giving me money, that rarely happens. But its teaching me a lesson, get a job :D
