I get it, man. There are things in mine that are definitely starting to show thier age. Just don't forget about us.I just rolled over 200kmi last month. It's got squeaks and minor inconveniences that are piling up.
You know what I would definitely do though? I’d take @bigjim247365 ’s mother out to a nice seafood dinner and then NEVER CALL HER AGAIN.
If I had a bigger garage I’d definitely pick up a second and have one be my daily and the other for fun. Then eventually probably combine them into one parts-wise and keep things going longer. In a long enough timeline..... Everybody bails. These things are getting old. And broken.
I don't mind keeping old stuff going. I like hunting in junk yards and such, it's enjoyable to me.If I had a bigger garage I’d definitely pick up a second and have one be my daily and the other for fun. Then eventually probably combine them into one parts-wise and keep things going longer.
This is my plan as well. Then, maybe I move to wheeling the frontier, and get a new Frontier once they work the bugs out.I love my X but with 240k mi it's beginning to show its age too. I'd love another but for the same reasons as you, I'm leary of getting into another one or keeping this one going..
I plan to drive it into the ground tho.
Yotas are just so overpriced nowadays! This is my plan as well. Then, maybe I move to wheeling the frontier, and get a new Frontier once they work the bugs out.
Then again, there's always jeep and Toyota.... But
They've always been overpriced. Also, I HATE the seating position in the last 3 generations of Taco. I find it extremely uncomfortable. But maybe that's just me.Yotas are just so overpriced nowadays!
I want an older pathfinder, those were comfy and capable but would be in the same boat as I'm in now..They've always been overpriced. Also, I HATE the seating position in the last 3 generations of Taco. I find it extremely uncomfortable. But maybe that's just me.
Buy an R52, and SAS it. Comfy, good motor, and no more broken CV's.I want an older pathfinder, those were comfy and capable but would be in the same boat as I'm in now..
No. Sitting inside a Taco is TERRIBLE. I guess if you're a short person it'd be OK, but to me it feels like being in a clown car. They've always been overpriced. Also, I HATE the seating position in the last 3 generations of Taco. I find it extremely uncomfortable. But maybe that's just me.
This. And the price of the Taco I looked at wasnt even that much different than the used Tundra I was looking at, so I went with the Tundra.No. Sitting inside a Taco is TERRIBLE. I guess if you're a short person it'd be OK, but to me it feels like being in a clown car.
That's another thing. For the dollar, the Taco can't do as many truck things as the Tundra. And the Tundra is only MARGINALLY more expensive....for a LOT more actual truck.This. See I don’t have that problem and I’m between 6’ and 6’1”. Plus I use to drive all over in it. Never found it uncomfortable. But if I did, I never would have bought one lolNo. Sitting inside a Taco is TERRIBLE. I guess if you're a short person it'd be OK, but to me it feels like being in a clown car.
Im 6'3 and most of its leg. I couldnt quit fit right. For that matter, the first gens dont fit me quite like I wish either, but I love those so I suffer.See I don’t have that problem and I’m between 6’ and 6’1”. Plus I use to drive all over in it. I'm 5'10". I fit in about any vehicle relatively well. I need a full size to tow with. My 3/4t came in crew cab (1/2t of the body style I wanted didn't) and was the same price. When I tow, I appreciate the 3/4t brakes and 4.10 gears.Im 6'3 and most of its leg. I couldnt quit fit right.
