Well after working tue I went over to the West Marine store in Annapolis . Just after I cross thru the intersection by the store it almost felt like someone clipped me but sounded like a crash just behind me . I looked in the side mirror only to see my tire carrier swing arm complete with tire lying in the road and traffic honking their horn's and stopping .
I can say maybe I had the top nut a little tighter then it should've been but I really think it got a fracture when I ran the 05 into the tree and it just got worse over time .
I'm just glad nobody got hurt , at least it wasn't at 4am in the dark because I might not have seen it or the person behind me might not have reacted fast enough .20220726_155607.jpg20220726_155614.jpg20220726_155633.jpg20220726_180056.jpg

So seems people have taken to drilling through the plastic tanks of the cars on our lot to get fuel, 6 this week- $25 dollars in gas just hit 750-1000 - need a reason for a nice thick skid plate?
And the idiots are using battery Operated drills.. Why can't the vapors GO POOF!!! and Flash Flame the dirtbag... one can only wish.

Either drilling holes, Or running siphon hose into farm Tractors.. Locking Gas cap is designed for the driver ONLY..

Looks like a clean break.. except for that small sliver of discoloration.. Vibrations should not create that type of shear force...

Dam... Need to add safety chains..

Yea were not using that tire carrier as a tow Bar for that fully loaded Crabber boat? ;-))

When I have to break into customers cars for looked in keys they are like wow that was fast...... Yeah the only person who can't get into your locked car without keys is you dear :) - People used to ask me why I didn't lock my Jeep doors ... because then they will just cut through the cloth and nothing in the Jeep is worth what the top is

I love watching the Lockpicking Lawyer on Youtube, a bunch of his stuff is great. The dead serious, "that is really high security, it took me like 5 minutes to pick it"...

Going to see Third Eye Blind (with Hockey Dad, Taking Back Sunday) on Sunday with my brother and my buddy. Its our thing. Brother flies in from New York each time they come to Dallas and we all go. I bet we have seen them (3eb) 8-10 times already.

Always so fun. Looking forward to it big time.

Its the only thing thats made this shiat week worth it.

That’s insane man. I wonder if the latch failed first, it opened, then some bumps sheared it off. Either way I wouldn’t expect that bolt to fail as easily as you describe. What grade was it supposed to be?

No , the latch is twisted if you look at the pic which to me mean's the pin end broke lose and the latch end made it swing over to the left . I'm pretty sure that tree is still haunting me

Nokia has some great dumb phone options. I'm not ready to make that jump though. I use my phone for music all the time and dumb phones can't run spotify.

I have an S10e and it literally does EVERYTHING I want it to. Except hold a decent charge. I don't want a ufcking iPhone. And all the new Android phones have curved screens or fold in half like some ufcking gimmick. The S10e is the last Samsung phone to have a physical fingerprint sensor and no curved screen. Oh. And a headphone jack. Which I still use from time to time.

I really want to try a Sony phone but I can never seem to find a good deal on one and they're not fully supported by the local bands so the internet speed will kind of suck.

If the battery drain started out of the blue, check the recently updated apps specially around when you realize the issue started, like day or before of. It happened to me couple of times with iphone with some apps.

Also if your phone OS recently updated to a major revision that might be the culprit as well

Been eyeing the Nothing, but it doesn't have the radios for North America. If it ever does come here, that'll likely be my next phone.

Ordered Mrs an A53 last week and it seems pretty decent for a mid tier device. Flat screen, good long battery, an under glass fingerprint sensor and facial unlock.
