I ran Sonys for years, they were great phones. One of the only brands that made a decent small phone with the high-end performance. But as typical with Sony, there is always 1 or 2 stupid things they do with their phones. And it is annoying how they dont seem to actually want to sell them in North America.

Took the fam to the county fair tonight. Kiddo pet some cows, goats, sheep, asked questions about cows. Then listened to some blues. Then took the kiddo on some rides. She really wanted to go on the ferris wheel, so up we went. She had a ball. Got home at 11:30. No wonder she was complaining about being tired! Off to bed for us.

Tomorrow it's school shopping for her first day of kindergarten, then going to help a buddy install a bumper on his RAM.

Instead of slow sneak attacks we are now going with front paw ground slaps and barking. Maybe in hopes of luring the beetle into another snout boop and countering. Let's see how the approach works...

Teagan continues to ground pound...beetle waddles to the right like a....beetle...Anakin barks at counter, beetle steps back TEAGAN WITH THE GROUND POUND! NO COUNTER NEEDED FOLKS! OH AND AKAKIN GOES IN THE LATE SNACK FATALITY!!!

It's really interesting to me being a lot closer to space than I grew up, that a mile makes a big difference how the moon looks at night.

Instead of just seeing the sliver of the moon I can see the entire thing in shadow with the sliver being highlighted.

The coolest part is that you get a feel for the spherical nature of the moon because as the sun sets behind the mountains, the sliver is pointed at the sun. Direct correlation.

I wish that my phone camera could capture the awesomeness of this view. It can't.

So here's a sunset from 6500ft above sea level.

Stopped at the toilet at a park on the walk back. 30s later 2 cop cars roll up. I'm walking away at this point. I did see some kids ufcking around on the playground when I went into the toilet.

Come around the block and one of the cops is running full scene lights and spot lights through the trail I'm walking on.

He didn't say shiat to me as I walked past.

Somebody called them about people in the park after dark.

Cool use of tax dollars. Thanks Douglas County.

This trend annoys me.... You used to get a Jeep wave and Jeeps owners knew their cars. Now with Ac and all the things that make the Jeep "civilized" you have a bunch of non-wheelers posing and mall crawling and the culture has gone to hell. You used to see the " It's a Jeep thing" stickers no dumb A$$ its a wheeler thing and you don't get it.
