Hey RoadWarrior, how many layers of Plastidip did you put on? I just put one layer on and all of a sudden it started raining, so I'm wondering if I NEED to put more on.
Yep.. I packed up my d44 and sent it to him
Relocated the power steering for no more reasons than because I could and the old spot was causing leaking.
Those are the two wires running from the controller in the top corner that connect to the thermostat that was supposed to be in that radiator hose, but I had the hoses and belts replaced and jackhole who did it pulled it apart and put a short rad hose (didn't account for the BL) so that's literally just looking the circuit (which doesn't matter because I wired the fan directly to a switch for the time being)Son what are you doing with a wire nut holding that connection together?
Thanks, one day I'd like to redo them with brand new headlights. Then I'd take my time and make them super unique.projectors look great!
For those of you who didn't see on the book of faces.. this was about the only big thing that happened to the X this weekend.. I might have put her underwater..
It only threw three codes, ruined the carpets, blew up some fuses while melting a relay, doused the engine bay in mud and gave me the worst sinking feeling (no pun intended) in my stomach. I am super glad water didn't get to the ECM (inches away from that) and I didn't turn the truck off or make it to the air intake, thus hydrolocking the engine.
Too lifted to hit it.. Only thing I was partially worried about was the hood attachment (latch I guess) wouldn't release. It didn't buckle anything. Main body of the deer that took the impact, and that was centered on the radiatorWhat about hood, fenders, etc?
