I would definitely recommend more than one coat. Especially with Plastidip. I'm not sure how heavy you do your coats but even still, you'll need more then one to even everything out.

First Fill-Up (of many)
lol yea I actually just had to peel the tape off. It rained, stopped, rained, stopped, and it's raining again lol I put plenty of layers on there imo and it looks DECENT. Not as good as I expected but with this weather appearing out of nowhere and changing rapidly, I thought it would be my chance to peel the tape off. But like I said, it look acceptable imo lolol I can always redo it :)

Relocated the power steering for no more reasons than because I could and the old spot was causing leaking.

SAS TIME, yes?!?!

Oooh! Ooh! Maybe a chop?

How about an exo-cage?!

Now you have to do it or you'll crush all of our dreams... and you don't want that.

Son what are you doing with a wire nut holding that connection together?
Those are the two wires running from the controller in the top corner that connect to the thermostat that was supposed to be in that radiator hose, but I had the hoses and belts replaced and jackhole who did it pulled it apart and put a short rad hose (didn't account for the BL) so that's literally just looking the circuit (which doesn't matter because I wired the fan directly to a switch for the time being)

For those of you who didn't see on the book of faces.. this was about the only big thing that happened to the X this weekend.. I might have put her underwater..

It only threw three codes, ruined the carpets, blew up some fuses while melting a relay, doused the engine bay in mud and gave me the worst sinking feeling (no pun intended) in my stomach. I am super glad water didn't get to the ECM (inches away from that) and I didn't turn the truck off or make it to the air intake, thus hydrolocking the engine.

Thumped a deer doing about a buck-40

(just 40mph, but you get the joke right?.. It's early..)

Insurance appraisal today.. Doesn't look like too much damage, but the whole rad and rad support is ruined.

That sucks. Good luck w/ the insurance. The problem we have to face is that on paper our trucks are pretty much worthless. So it doesn't take a lot to total them.

Can't get into the hood.. Latch is bent (I can get it to 'pop', but can't get it to release/open)

And I know everything is connected, but it didn't appear to be buckled anywhere else
