Well with Johann's help, I also have the Wink Mirror mod, I did it over the summer.. But Johann, how much have you spent on your decals? I know I have at least 100$ in mine..

Just got the task light in from UPS and I am not sure where I want to mount it.

I still have the factory wires where the OEM map lights used to be. And I could go over the wink mirror; however this would be silly, seeing as I have a dome light not to far and as high as the task light would be if I mounted it in that location.

How long is the neck and how does the base mount?

The neck is 12" and the base is screwed in three places.

Exactly where my mind went, Then you could pull it down or push it up when you need it, but how strong is the neck, its it going to flop around on bumpy roads/trails?

The arm/neck material is steel and pretty stiff. IF I can get it to clip into the sun visor hook/clip it would help; but it doesn't secure it.

I may need a mounting clip like this one below to replace the sun visor hook.
