Hate to break it to you guys, but the girls don't exactly go wild for beads outside of Bourbon St. And if Johann wants to do Bourbon St. this weekend, he's on his own. :) No amount of flashing girls in the world could get me to New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

No thanks, I'd rather hang. Been there, seen locals beat the living crap out of tourists, molested women in front of their spouse, seen puke everywhere, urinating in the street, and over priced drinks.

Hey Ratt, be safe on your trip and have fun. I wish I could have gone just for the ride....oh wait, you didn't ask me to go! Never mind.

We tried using the other holes that were drilled and we tried using the adapter plates from AC that raise the stock bumper for a 2" BL, but even with the bumper all the way flush with the fenders and grill, it still wasn't high enough to slot the bolts in. I'd say the bumper could stand to go up another inch and a half from where it is now, but I think that would require a bit more time and a few more hands than we had to hold the bumper in place while everything was measured out and marked.

I will say that I'm impressed that I could still lift by myself (barely) a bumper that is obviously much heavier duty than the original (though obviously not as tough as a Shrock or a Hefty), but there were a couple of things I thought ARB skimped on in the design. The shackle points, especially. Still, a place to mount a winch, and a bit more clearance without adding a ton of weight, and it looks good too.

That ^
The bumper must have been welded in place.

We mounted the Hella Black Magics to the bumper and the way the housing is, the lamps will not adjust up or down. Does Hella or ARB make risers?

Nope I tacked it when I drilled the holes but it wasn't welded.. If I see you before you raise it we will get it right ;)

A Shrockworks employee just pm'ed me on FB that he can't have me running around reppin ARB. Good gobble!

Money is tight. It better be one awesome deal. If not I'm sticking with the ARB I got for $200.

Yeah they were.

They would't come down enough to make it worth giving up the ARB. I liked the offer though.

Sent using telepathy.

I may get one. I was thinking about that...lol I'll probably be getting some sliders in the next month or so. Then maybe on to a front bumper...
