Finished a rear light bar for some backup lights, ill post up some pictures tomorrow.

However, I did drive over to Fayetteville today (90miles) to get some red racing seats for 100 bucks. They are surprisingly comfortable, at least more comfortable than the stock seats, and the guy even threw me in an extra Corbeau 4 point. Now if only i knew how to work that thing...

Overall a decent little mod day. I'll mount the bar tomorrow and snap some pics of it. Then hopefully wire it up by Wednesday. Also ill be ordering some LED conversion bulbs for the license plate lights, parking lights, map lights, gauge lights, and shifter lights within a week. The plate metal for my front bumper will be here no later than Friday, so I should finish that by next next week depending on days off. Then just find some tires and get this leak checked out and a few other small mods and ill be done for the year. Man how time flies. I've had this truck for a year now. And only started modding in March. Good times.

Some pics of the lightbar. Also, a couple of days ago I went to the pick and pull and stole a rear washer shooter thing as mine was missing ever since i had it. It still doesnt even work, I think they unplugged it somewhere alone the lines of it. Whenever I get a chance ill trace it down.

Thats when you make the seat brackets lower.

I could move them down to about stock height or mount the seat to the stock rails....but as is I rack my head against the roof when wheeling. Half the time I'm driving cross eyed haha :bmmd:

They did. Limited edition color on the true first gens. It was a glossy khaki. You will see a few around. Same with the light blue/teal color that is around. There is also a limited edition color run on the 1.5 gens, that was in 2003 though.

Ah, the LEDs look slick in that color. I was thinking of going for blue but I've got a thing about matching colors and I feel like blue wouldn't match with canteen green.

Red is a good choice for the map light though. Red doesn't interfere with night vision at all.

Yeah I figured that, but just the color clashing is what bugged me.

And yeah, I can turn it in and its bright enough to light up everything, but im not blinded.

2001 has a pretty basic SRS setup. Only connector on the seats is the seatbelt. Only SRS components are the two airbags and seatbelt pretensioners.
